Default ERA-377 brake light gremlin

My left rear brake/flasher is out and I'm having a bit of difficulty tracking down the bug. I have the ERA Manual on CD but there doesn't seem to be either a wiring diagram nor even a good description of how the brake/signal is wired. I have the rectangular light and there doen't seem to be 12 volts at one of the leads. I can't find a bad fuse but don't know which is which anyway. Can't ID the relays either. If anyone can point me either to a wiring diagram or tell me something about the circuit and ID which fuse, relay and colored wires I should be tracking, I would much appreciate it.
BTW the horn is also not working.

Terry Give me a phone number. I can walk you through it to find the problem. I have the wiring diagram from 330 on up. For the horn check fuse 2 on the fire wall and see if you have power to both sides of the fuse. Then check the horn relay. it has 3 wires going to it. Green, Violet, and Pink. Ground the pink wire to the chassic and the horn should work. if not listen for the relay to click. Check the fuse holder under the dash and see if both are OK 2 amp fuses. I will have to talk you through the rest. Rick Lake

Default Check the FRONT signal lamps

I have a gremlin with #404 rear brake light not working, but parking lights did work. Found out that if a front signal lamp is bad it will keep the rear ones from working as well. Found that the right front signal lamp was loose and when I re-seated it everything started working again. There's a note on this in some of the ERA wiring info, but I had to dig a while to realize this might be the issue.

My car is #414, not #404, margarita interference in the circuit.....

My friend recently had this problem on a Hi Tech. We were pulling our hair out, no way we had a diagram. Come to find out it was a small turn signal like "relay" under the dash, typically used on trailors and such. Bought one just like it at NAPA!

Single bulb (square lens) that acted as break light and turn signal light. The horn worked fine all the time.

Thanks guys. Rick Lake generously called me and walked me through a fair amount of tracking. Put me on to some good ideas and isolated the horn relay as being defective. Have since ordered a new one. Last night, per his suggestion I was looking for ground faults in the front signals, but couldn't quickly verify before I was interrupted by family requirements. The front signals do seem to be a bit loose in thier mountings and that is something I can try to deal with when I go back under to look for ground faults ect.
Big family reunion this weekend (aunt and uncles 65th anniversary- WOW) and all their kids, kids kids and kids kids kids, along with various other cousins and flotsam and jetsam arriving by the minute. Will let you know how/if it all works out (the car, not the marriage) when I get another shot at it.
