Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most normal HP tires today have a tread depth of around 10/32"? I'm just trying to figure how "slick" the CR6ZZ's are. The tread depth seems quite small to me, when viewed in a pic.

Stentor, yup, still running the Avid's. As Doug said, mine will age out before they ever wear out. I'm kinda looking at a 2nd set for potential

track use only, but then I'd like to find a nice set of magnesium Halibrands too.

If I'm wishing here anyway, then I'd also like to build a SOHC engine too...Santa?
