The Beast of Roushwerkes with his Bowler torque controller are ready to violate the slender lines of the Gazelle from Africa.

Can't wait for this symbiotic relationship to transition into an American Legend.

Nice pics tin man. I am curious if Roush is now supplying those air cleaners(I bought the first set they made) or did they offer them as an upgrade to the K&N that first came with those motors?

I know your Baby is a Toy for when you are back in the states. Do a little dreaming and tell us what a trip from your China home to work would be like. What kind of reaction would a fire breathing beast like this evoke in rush hour traffic? dream on brother!!

I had planned on providing a picture presentation of my return from Zhuhai to the States but I will include a revese sequence from my works so you can see what this city looks like. Sorta like a mix between Hawaii and Singapore. One of the best kept secrets in China. BTW it has its own FI racetrack and is a ten minute walk from Macao. Macao, makes Vegas seem glitzy and has really great casinos. Plus, err,hmmm, how can I put this delicately, what happens in Macao stays in Macao and the ladies here are stunning. Clay Cook does great work and no they are not cheaper direct from them. At least they weren't from me. Since Roush didn't have them ready to market, they sent me directly to them for this but I paid a fair more than that for mine. You got a good deal.

I think should offer them standard on a motor that is an expensive as that one and as many problems as they have had with those K&N not supplying enough filtering power. Also for anyone else thinking of the 511 and a CSX combo, These air cleaners are a must as the standard K&n Filters supplied wont fit under a stock CSX hood. I learned the hard way.

little does this gracefull Gazelle from Africa realize what the boys will do when the Beast of Roushwerkes straps on his torque controller and Erick of Voss Performance hoists them up on a pulley and shoves the combo deeply into the engine compartment of the roller, gasp, oh, oh, but then......well you get the picture, an American Legend is born. Freudian moment, kinky, WTF, is all commin' together, yeah, so it must be the angst fryin' my mind. I was offered these at US1,700 the set from Roush but I suspect they would be less if purchased direct from the manufacturer and while on the expensive side I thought they looked great, so added them to the engine build. Roush also supplied me with the K&N air cleaners since they were part of the original polished engine quote, so I can go either way.

These air cleaners are from Clay Cook Enterprises, check out their website they have some awesome stuff on offer.

The more I look at this picture the more I believe the Beast of Roushwerkes is the correct name for this piece of work. Once its got the tranny "strapped on" its gonna "prang" that gorgeous Gazelle from Africa.

There is something very powerful about that visualiation and the transformation this symbiotic relationship brings with the birth of an American Legend,.. particularly when you smack its ass for the first time and it lets out a roar and a deep gut wrenching growl that makes grown men tremble.

Regardless of a self built or purchased Cobra, when it breathes life for the first time I have to believe it leaves the owner in a very satisfying state of shock and awe. with the understanding wow, this is all mine and it really is what I dreamed it would be.

It would be interesting to hear some of the reactions our Club Members experienced when they first breathed life into their creation.
