This always happens when your car's laid up in a bag and you can't drive to restaurants, oyster bars, haberdashers and the golf club...you know-COMPETITION driving.

Jerry, tell Chas. that you love the old K cam from 45 years ago.%/

blykins 03-04-2011 03:17 PM

Kinda like throwing a piece of sirloin out to the piranhas isn't it?

RodKnock 03-04-2011 03:24 PM

The cherry on the top would be if Patrick buys Brent a case of Brad Penn oil and then posts the same Brad Penn letter he's posted about dozen times.

Wizbamsc 03-04-2011 03:24 PM

Brent, I like the street car idea. No hood scoop, oil cooler roll bar, or gas cap in the quarter. Where will you get a body like that?

kgs365 03-04-2011 03:33 PM

hey Brent Magnesium wheels? :)

RodKnock 03-04-2011 03:41 PM

From a February 2010 thread where Brent and Patrick disagreed:

There are two handfulls of engine builders on Club Cobra. Ask them which they prefer. ;)

Tell me, what are the selling points of a flat tappet cam? Would you risk a failure and lose horsepower just for a clackety clack noise? Please.

Say it however you want Patrick. You do whatever you need to do to make you feel better about yourself, your antiquated engine components, and your $1000 Centerforce flywheel. ;)

Know the feeling it was about 5 yrs ago my car was parked because the need for a custom built big inch Harley bug bit me hard. Now that the bikes are built and dailed in the Cobra is back on the road or will be once our record snow fall has melted.Have a new 1000cfm Davinci double pump carb needs a little tweak.

rustyBob 03-04-2011 04:03 PM

Hey Rod - why don't you offer to buy a set for Brent, that will add another set of wheels to your order and make it that much more likely to happen...
