GROAN...
Cripes Brent-why did you agree to this?? It ain't the cost I'm sure.
But now you've given the Village Idiot a reason to live and post his gleeful school-boy engine hypotheses--endlessly. And you'll be wearing what ever dresses he picks out for you-forever.
When I asked you two pages ago, I meant what car manufacturer's chassis and kit will you use?

Sorry Pal, you're a day late and a dollar short - the deal is done. And as I recall, RodKnock showed a marked preference for taffeta, perhaps a soft lavender shade.

-and you're gonna be $350 short. But I know it's worth it to you in 'Nuisance Factor'.
This always happens when your car's laid up in a bag and you can't drive to restaurants, oyster bars, haberdashers and the golf club...you know-COMPETITION driving.

The cherry on the top would be if Patrick buys Brent a case of Brad Penn oil and then posts the same Brad Penn letter he's posted about dozen times.

Sorry Chas.....
At least I picked my own cam. The only thing he can do is put up endless graphs about durations and lobe separations.
But hey, a free bump stick is a free bump stick.
I'm not sure on the chassis yet....but that's the fun part of starting a new build.

Brent, I like the street car idea. No hood scoop, oil cooler roll bar, or gas cap in the quarter. Where will you get a body like that?

From a February 2010 thread where Brent and Patrick disagreed:

There are two handfulls of engine builders on Club Cobra. Ask them which they prefer.

Tell me, what are the selling points of a flat tappet cam? Would you risk a failure and lose horsepower just for a clackety clack noise? Please.

Hey Rod - why don't you offer to buy a set for Brent, that will add another set of wheels to your order and make it that much more likely to happen...

Who's going to chip in on the Edelbrock heads?
Here's the Toploader that will be going behind the FE...
Y'all with the sharp eyes tell me what's different about it...

Know the feeling it was about 5 yrs ago my car was parked because the need for a custom built big inch Harley bug bit me hard. Now that the bikes are built and dailed in the Cobra is back on the road or will be once our record snow fall has melted.Have a new 1000cfm Davinci double pump carb needs a little tweak.
