Sometimes we're the only ones talking here so we think we're the be all, end all.
I used to think that until I expanded my 'Cobra orbit' when I moved to LA.
My wife's friend's husband (whose been at McCluskey since Dolphin shorts), has shown me another side to high end replicas, Completion Cobras, originals, etc.
People would be surprised to know what a Kirkham dressed to the 9's really goes for, or who the premier engine builder for originals is, or how 'that guy' got his friend an incredible deal on an original and restored it, for cheaper than the CC brain trust would believe.
Published numbers are for everybody. Lots and lots of guys deal in originals as well as high end replicas 'behind the scenes'.
$200k for an ally Shelby done well? Abosolutely. Very close to that for a KMP.

You would be surprised at what goes on behind the scenes. lol I usually know what's going on with a few models like Ferrari GTO's and McLaren F1's. Less of them around then Cobras. lol In fact I'm one of the go to guys for F1's since I pulled one out of Brunei along with 6 others from the royal family years ago. The F1 registry is the only registry that I help out on when I have the time.

Would have been nice to be part of the Tuscany tour.
