Here an example of our aluminum body comparing to others. It is still unfinished and came fresh out from the forming sector.
We used an available MKIII body setup for our prototype as we didnt decide for what for model we are going for at this time. The next versions are FFR MKIV based but the way to build those bodies will be the same.
Advantage: As you can see the right or the left side of the car are made from TWO parts only. This means less weldings, less re-finish, less time which results in affordable aluminum bodies independent what for a body style you will use.

The entire side is really made of only two panels? Hard to believe. How did you shape them?

Yes, two panels only. One welding seam only as you can see. But how they are made is a company secret, sorry. The only thing I can tell is that you need a lot of muscles and pain killer

So you are implying that the panels are hammer/stretch formed like the Kirkham panels? [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBX8u8gVik4[/ame]

I started to do some panel beating and english wheel stuff recently, but I can hardly believe it is possible or economical to do such a large panel in one piece.

If you don't mind, could you please post some additional pictures? I'm not saying it can't be done, however I can barely believe it makes sense in terms of saving of time. Usually if a panel gets too large it will be easier to make out of several smaller pieces that are welded together.

Hi, I dont mind.
We are not using the English wheel. To use it you have to split the body in many parts and fabricate them individualy. After this you have to weld them together.
We developed our own special tooling....which for sure will generate unbelievable speculations on this forum...but what matters are the results.

This is the information I'm referring to. I have no interest in the 2 way pissing contest. Without knowing for sure - and it really isn't that important to me - I'd prefer to move on from the "Ingo is Tom" bull-hit and melodrama and take Ingo at face value to see whats up with this project.

If you bothered to read what he wrote I think you'd see he was giving you the benefit of the doubt.
