Poor Andre wasn't a very healthy man. Looking back I remember he looked like he could barely walk at times. He obviously had a bit of static physical strength because of his sheer size but he lumbered around slowly and painfully. I never was a big fan of choreograhed wrestling, but I watched it occasionally and always remember feeling kinda sorry for Andre the Giant.

How about go drove your cars around like maniacs for a few hours and report back!?!
I just did and some asshole got all bent out of shape while I was driving through a parking lot. POS was yelling at me and threatened me. I asked him multiple times what his issue was and he kept threatening to **** up my car and beat beat my ass.. So I jumped out and straightned his ass out on the spot. Really weird occurance.
Glad I had gloves on already. Poor guy. But seriously have no idea why he started **** in the first place.

LMAO!! I hope he doesn't stay away. He reminds me of one of my buddies - opinionated, bull-headed and obnoxious as hell in an argument. We all cuss him off and tell him he's full of --it (doesn't faze him one bit) but he's one of us and we miss him when he's not around.

Well that was fun! Kind of timely too - my wife who does book editing in her spare time, recently completed a biography on Chuck Norris. I didn't go through the whole thing, but he was definitely not a real world fighter. Points karate champion yes, but that's a sport in which you neither deliver nor receive full contact blows and he's actually a bit of a pacifist when it comes to physical violence. Lee by contrast was all about fighting, and supremely conditioned for just that. He was a known brawler and fought real world fights against other martial artists. The movies made him famous but they were secondary to the constant development of his fighting skill and philosophy which was his true vocation.
In comparison, Lee vs. Noris would be like a 130lb mountain lion vs. a 160lb Labrador. The lab would put up a brave, respectable fight, but odds are strong it would be shredded by the leaner, meaner, better equipped fighting machine.

I tend to agree over the years have seen the same kind of people in action, once witnessed a fight like that. Everyone always said of that particular fight knowing the combatants that if the larger man could have landed a solid punch it would have been over. He ended up on his back so quick he never had a chance.

Good to be loyal to a brand.
Superformance is a great car, no argument there.
Your presentation of your loyalty to such may need a little work though.

I see very little merit in steadfast brand loyalty, particularly when it comes to automobiles. Though this applies less to single product replica manufacturers (which I know is the focus here), outside of truthfully recognizing and acknowledging the attributes of a well built product and good customer service, declaring ones self a "Ford guy" or a "Chevy guy" for better or for worse only serves the objectives, bottom lines and and coffers of the fat-cat marketing execs and CEO's. Dancing to their tunes to the point of having to defend everything they crap out and dumping upon everything "the other brand" produces leads to a myopic and less than honest assessment of both company's products.
Refusing (or being unable) to say anything deservedly good about the Z06 or the Hellcat or the GT500 because of one's loyalty to some contrived, nebulous concept of a brand image to me is a self-imposed handicap that smacks more of cultism, fanaticism and latent tribalism than the honest and rational conclusions of a thinking individual.
Just because I love my Unique Cobra and the wonderful Weaver family that produced it doesn't mean that I need to be an enemy of FFR and the Smith brothers or Kirkham and David and the boys in Utah. Saying something good about an SPF doesn't constitute an affront to Hurricane, and acknowledging that Contemporary CCX cars have high, perky butts and are NOT by a long stretch the "most accurate replicas" doesn't mean I'm attacking Mr. Mustang, Mickmate and all the other CCX devotees It's simply the truth so come on guys - shed that oppressive yoke of blinding, divisive brand loyalty and come over into the light.
Join me and repeat three times with palms turned upwards and eyes closed (extra points here for an understated, benevolent smile):
"My cars is nice but other brands can be just as nice - the Z06 is awesome, and Contemporarys have perky butts."
Do that my friends, and I promise you'll feel cleansed and liberated instantly. Give it a try - open your hearts and minds and allow the truth to set you free... Once you're done, line up in an orderly fashion for your cup of kool-aid

Clearly you value the "authorization" of your car by Shelby and factored into the price you were willing to pay. Rightfully so. SPF makes a fine car too.

Buddy baited the hook, dangled it and Evan swallowed it.

Let's all go fishing.

More importantly, where do you fall in the Chuck Norris versus Bruce Lee battle?

Wow. Cool. Usually, you either only post about a Shelby Cobra replica for sale or new pending lawsuit against Shelby.

Forgot to ask, how did you make out with the car in NJ?
