Lightbulb Where is CC going and what is the future.

Folks,

i am appalled at the lack of attention given to Rick Dormans topic and work posted in "Shop talk" (226 views)

Rick has gone to a lot of trouble to help everyone with their brake sizing and applications.

His analytical methods are top notch and everyone here should be reading his stuff.

Maybe it is not as exciting as what wax to use, or how much horsepower can you get from a 3XX or a 4XX whatever, but it is some of the best information I have ever seen posted and everyone can use it.

The link to the post is here.

Rick's Brake analysis

This type of information is what this club was made of in the past.

There have been threads about where are the old members.

Well, if everyone contributed like the old days, they would probably still be here.

Rick is doing it, and very few folks seem to notice.

To me at least, it is a bit of a bummer.

Go back to the old threads and you will see what made this Club happen.

Real information, about the cars and what it takes to make them work.

It was not about CS or SAI or where the cars were built or who is in bed with who, or what special sales are running this month.

But rather the love of the car and what it takes to make them a part of your life and as perfect as you could.

This was the point of Club Cobra to me.

Maybe I am too much of a "old timer." as well.
