Actually Amy...probably wouldn't surprize folks around here (of all places).

Obviously, your CPR skills are excellent.

I have been following this thread from the beginning and have stayed away from making any comments until now. By the way, it is getting close to 22 pages.

If it were not for SAAC, the Cobra replica producers, and Cobra lovers & owners (most of whom can only afford replicas) probably no one would even know who CS was today. His name has been kept alive by the people that never gave up on the cars SAI built in the mid to late 60s.

In a few years, new Mustangs will just be old Mustangs (whether they have CS written on the side, or not), many of the current Mustang owners will be driving whatever is the hot toy of the day, and Ford will be building what they can sell. However, Cobras will still be Cobras and we will love them as much as ever. Hopefully there will be plenty of 94 octane around so that we will still be able to make lots of noise.

Talk of marrying close relatives did add an interesting twist to this thread.

Wayne

Page 8 I asked the question, and Mark IV responded 22 pages. You got to admit though a lot of information has passed here. Me being a newbie of one year it always amazes me how much information, and some disinformation passes here. At times the history here seems to be a soap opera....

Amy- The Terlingua story was one of my favorites in the Mag. I had heard that the name came from a town in Texas near the Rio Grande, but I never heard some of the funny stories that were laid out in the article.
-Good stuff.

Yes, its all cool. We have Bill Neale and Caroll on Video telling some of these stories and we will have them on the new site when we launch. This history was almost gone, I think many will love to hear stuff they never heard before

Amy

PS-Thanks Jamo!

Soap Opera? Why, that about sums up Carrolls life right there! ...and stay tunded, the plot thickens.

I sure hope one day they make a movie of Carrolls life, it has all the elements to be a really great show.

I wonder if discussions like this will be allowed on the new TeamShelby.com forums?

Default thank you Amy

Amy,
Thank you for addressing this issue. I think your solution sounds perfect. My friend did try to speak with you the other night at the Peterson event. Unfortunately after the speeches he said he was unable to locate you.

By the way, as I said before. The magazine looks very good. Enjoyed the read.
