Mikie, no, not this month, I will fly to California on December 11th and visit Hillbank Motors in Costa Mesa/Irvine to test drive my car on December 12th., concluding there are no issues, I will take it for as spin on the 13th and 14th, after work, yep, bastards make me work even on my vacation, and then arrange shipment to Phoenix so it arrives on the 16th. Thus will visit the Safeway gathering on the 17th. I return to China on Jan 5th.
All other days in between will be spent doing burnouts tearing up the neighbourhood and being a bad ass Cobra enthusiast. I also plan on visiting as many members as I can.
Cheers, John

THANK YOU, JEFF!!!
Now, explain THAT to Mikie. I know what I'm drinking but apparently Mikie's mind must be clouded from the rich exhaust fumes he's inhaled while going up to Yarnell Hill!
Read this, Mikie, then tell me again who's playing with his...
Oxygen tends to settle to low places, due to atomic weight molecular theories and gravity. Oxygen levels found at 5,000 ft. are a full 16% less than levels found at sea-level. At 10,000 ft. this percentage loss of oxygen now approaches 30%. As carburetor jets remain fixed, the diminished oxygen in the thin mountain air will burn poorly with the carb's fixed amounts of fuel. The logical outcome is black smoke from the tailpipe, and poor mileage, and significantly reduced power outputs.
Phoenix elevation is 1115 ft.
At 1115ft, the standard barometric pressure is 97 kPa (731 mmHg). This means that there is 96% of the oxygen available at sea level.
Yarnell elevation is 4777ft.
At 4777ft, the standard barometric pressure is 86 kPa (644 mmHg). This means that there is 85% of the oxygen available at sea level.
So, there is 11% LESS oxygen at Yarnell than in Phoenix, there IS definitely a difference how your carbureted engine runs!!!
Ralphie, who sometimes knows what he's talking about!

Long before the new fangled induction crap came on the scene. We were driving our cars and trucks all over gods creation. Up hills and down hills. It was good enough then and it works well today.
11% difference is nothing. If you can breathe there so can the car.

You can lead a horse to water, but...!
Been here 3 weeks tomorrow! Haven't seen rides to meet up with you. Going to a car show at Harrah's tomorrow and will go to Goodguy's on Sunday with Chuck to spectate, anyone else going to West World?

Hey guys how do you think them guys in Columbia drive at elevations of 11,000 feet plus, they just chew on cocoa leaves, drink tequila and DGAS. tin-man
Hey Mikie, I though long before that new fangled crap came on the scene you wuz ridin' a hoss, am I right? I can see it now, Mike standin' high in the stirrups, galloping down the road, whippin the hoss with his free hand to get more horsepower and yellin at the top of his lungs yippy kiay kio.
Oh, and with his Henry slung on his back, wa, watta guy, yep Mikie you da man..
BTW did you ever get the hoss to do burnouts, its got somethin' to do with hobbling its two front legs and shoving a big roman candle fire cracker up the horses,, well you get the picture, lite the firecracker, quickly jump back in the saddle and then try to stay on while it spins.
Cheers, tin-man

cash, cheque, or credit card, plus I need to see insurance, seems reasonable, but how'd I know you fine upstandin' gents would absolutely resist the urge to take the Beast of Roushwerks out for a spin? Now I is gettin nervus' thinking about it. tin-man

Now, Tinney, you know damn well that "fine upstandin' gents" would never succumb to the urge to take your Beast out for a spin, we've got more respect for you than that.
Havin' said that, don't trust Dan to watch over one of your lovely Chinese girlfriends to watch over her, but you can trust me!
Your trustworthy buddy,
Ralphie
