Sounds like Stuart is going to be OK, which is the best news there can be!
As for the driver of the RAV4, anybody know if she cited?

Just read the whole thread and thought I don't know any of you, I want to wish Stuart all the best and a quick recovery. He will be in my prayers. Sounds as if a lot of you could have been hurt in this mess. Just glad that it didn't turn out worse with more people badly injured or worse.

Just thought I would "Post" after reading the 'Thread" and seeing the photos of the damaged vehicles.
Please pass on my best wishes to Stuart and those involved.
The impact of any 'Thread' with the words Cobra and crash sends a shiver down my spine, as we are a small community of enthusiasts who no doubt know those involved.
Thankfully you were all travelling together and able to quickly respond to move the Cobra back.
Again, my thoughts are with all who were involved.

We wish Stuart a speedy recovery. An incident like this certainly opens our eyes to the possible dangers we all are exposed to and this post helps us all reflect on our own driving experiences.
Let us all stay safe

Tramatic
Hi,
I've helped at several crashes and it is traumatic for the responders also, not just the victims. Woke up this morning with elbow thrown out and Bev with shoulder aching, little 5'3" gal put her shoulder into the cobra to push it,amazing what adrenalin will do. Then an hour later we come "down" and were in shock also shaking a bit. A suggestion for the guys on group outtings; the Goldwing rides go out in goups of 6 to 8 riders so as not to bunch up and get caught at lights etc, might be good for the cars also.
Staurt's seatbelt did it's job,I unbuckled it and turned the ignition off as I didn't know if he had an electric fuel pump and were lucky we didn't get a fire after just gassing up.Glad Vicki said he is doing well !

Bob, After reading your post, I am moved. I am ALMOST sorry for giving you SH!% as often as I do. Hell, if I was nice to you, you'd think I didn't love you anymore.
Ginny, I think Mikie has my cell phone number.. If not, I'll send it in an email. I appreciate the thought....and yes, sometimes things happen for a reason. Linda and I talked about that last night on the phone. I guess I am a little confused from something. At first I told her how safe she would have been and then later argued about how she could have been hurt. Don't know why I keep changing my mind, but I'm grateful to whatever spirits that be that she wasn't sitting in the car.
When all is said and done, I can't help but keep coming back to where that ladies SUV would have been if our cars hadn't been where they were and it keeps coming up the same way. With lots more folks in ambulances and body bags. We are all very lucky, including the lady with the SUV. Part of me hopes she recovers quickly and part of me wants to throttle her. Talk about confused!.......... Anyway, with any luck, I'll have another car and still my the Route 66 run. If not, I'll pass along my reservations in Williams and Kingman and wish everyone that makes it a Happy Run...
Dan.. currently shopping for another CCX Car.

Just saw this post and am really sorry to hear about the accident. Just thank the LORD that no one else was injured in this mess! Our prayers are with Stuart and his family for a complete recovery. Like many have said you can replace the cars but not the people.
Speedy recovery Stuart!
Terry

Best wishes Stuart,
Hard to say anything good comes from these but in a round about way I KNOW that this accident has opened a few eyes to just how fast good things can go wrong.
In Houston today a small group of us went for a ride to the beach in galveston and this wreck was a major topic of conversation. I also know it was on my mind and reminded me constantly to not take the car for granted.
Stuart, I know theres some pain right now but it may help some of us be safer,
You and your family and cobra family will be in our prayers, get well quickly.
Larry
