That's great news Dave. Besides doing their job, they look great too.

A bit of a quick video of a few spins and clips from the event. I'll be uploading more across the next week. Just gotta sort through about 2 hours and 30 minutes of footage and render it all. This one is a music clip but all the rest will be raw sound as people want to hear the cars.
A quick note to all who worked so hard AGAIN for the event.
The weather tried hard to spoil things, but the event went really well.
Massive thanks to the organizing committee...and a special thanks to Neil ( Ian ? ) Streeting for a fantastic effort....Hope you'll stick your hand up again next year...awesome job mate !
Might get a better microphone for next years functions....some of my best insults were missed.....had a ball, great to catch up to all the Cobraphiles...already looking forward to next year.
Thank you to all involved for a great event, had a great time. Sunday was a bit of a let down, had a oil leak that got continually worse. (but I managed to drive it home ok)
When I got home had a bitmore time to find the problem and it turns out I forgot to put the O ring on the new distributor Hmmm . Bit of a shame because the car was running well and was looking forward to the sprints.
Thanks Tenrocca I am very happy how its turned out, I have plans to redo the engine bay this year and definately replace my tyres that are over 5years old not much grip.

A few more videos. Excuse the ridiculous length of the sector 2 video. But it was great standing up the top of the circuit. You see the cars moving around a lot more than just watching from the main straight.
Sector 2 (bloody long video)
Sights and Sounds of the Nationals
A few laps from the Corse Racing Cobra (Green #18) on Friday
Will be uploading Sector 1 video overnight which is also 10+ minutes and then i'll move onto the saturday events.

Dave, They were scary where I was too. Changed the bias after Friday and stuffed it obviously, changed again at lunch and they were less scarey in the afternoon runs.
Gav - In my defense:
* That top corner of the track really has a great view of the canola fields....
* I wanted to win best spin off (which wasnt even up for grabs )
* I wanted to pick up some gravel for my garden
* cant do a 1:10 on street tyres and a stock cardboard box oogily boogidy engine without pushing the edge of the envelope a little....
* and the biggest reason........Im rough as guts
You got spoken to about your driving didnt you? Naughty Naughty boy.
I love watching the footage to see all the lines people take. That Robnell did a top job, not sure how I missed that on Sunday. Top driving.
Not happy I missed this year, especially seeing the battle between Gav "the Bunnings Battler with heated seats and no sunburn" Irvine and Andrew "Painted with a brush stock 6 Litre cannot get rego" Cornett.

Boxhead the traveller has finally reached home.
Thanks everyone for a great weekend, I can tell one and all, Fark Australia is big and varied, 6 days ago (Monday) I was washing ice of the Vals windscreen, today I arrive home to 35 degrees and an even hotter northerly gale.

I would like to thank all the competitors, officals and fellow Victorians for all the help and support they gave me at my first nationals. Had a ball and looking forward to next year. Well done NSW Cobra Club.
