Hi d488y2,

I have ordered a comprehensive kit in pieces and will be fully assembled in my own garage so until it is at the roller stage I need a cradle.

Go Jacks are on the list for when I get some wheels to put them under.

Thanks for your advice.

Cheers

Russell

Hi Daryl,

This is very similar to what I have in mind, using independent front and rear supports which frees up the ability to move around underneath the car. I will be looking to make a hardwood knock down version so the trolleys can be stored away.

A bonus with the Pace car is that it has a flat floor so trolleys are quite easy to make.

Cheers

Hi Guye

Its ok because its all about the things you do to build a Cobra.

The thread will get back on track i'm sure and we can all enjoy the experience.

I will get some dimensions and Photo's when i go to Pace next week.

Cheers

Brad

The activity at Pace is picking up with a car leaving the factory every couple of weeks I think.

I am not there every day so its a guess I suppose.

There are new faces at Pace and all seem to have something to do.

Cheers

Default Update for my Pace 427

Windscreen Washer Bottle

Header Tank and Overflow Bottle

Oil Cooler Lines from Cooler

Oil Cooler Lines from Cooler to Engine.

The Engine cooling system is nearly finished all I have to do is fit a couple of

hoses to the system and finish tightening some clamps and nuts.

I still have to fit the squirters in the body and run a plastic line from the bottle to the squirters .

The exhaust headers should be finished next week (I have been saying this for

a few weeks now but as everyone knows the first one is allways the hardest)

Just waiting for the gauges then fit the dash and its off the get the car wired.

Cheers

Brad - when you said you were putting a standard 5.0 motor in there, I thought you might divert your focus away from engine bay aesthetics. It's great to see some bling with the alternator, pulleys and fluid reservoirs. Things are looking nice and shiny in the engine bay. With a polished MassFlow manifold and a nice polished air cleaner on top, the picture will be complete

Looks awesome mate, up dates are great.

It appears that you belt may be slightly misaligned, and no, I don't need excuses that its not finished yet.

All good, and waiting to see it at breakfast when there will be ten deep.

I've got a question Brad. How do you fill the window washer bottle? Seems to be tucked right up there under the front left guard.

^this.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Re you sending the car to be wired, doesn't the comprehensive kit include a body wiring harness? Or are you referring to the engine wiring?

PS...it was great to meet you @ Shelbyfest Brad.
