Guys

Not a lot of performance gear over here. Plenty of electric stuff though..

There were two Lamborghini rent a cars but at 89 Euros for 30 minute blocks you would want to do a lot of tyre frying to get your money's worth.

..... Then I saw they were Rev and speed restricted. So just a drive to show off if in limp/valet mode.. as if...

Le Man may see things change..... For the better...

It doesnt rain much in S.A. in the summer time so the same will apply there maybe Tasmania or N.Z. where there is a bit of cloud cover

But mind you its a beautifull body (We could call it the Elle McPherson body)

Cheers

Brad

Hi Tonus

Spent last 10 days at the Absolute Pace facility where the hinges and gas struts are being fitted to the Boot and Bonnet.

When I left on monday afternoon Steve the Composite guy was finishing off the moulds for the doors with the intrusion bars in the doors so that will take a few days to complete.

I still have trouble getting my head around this fiberglass mould thing , It seems you have to be able to work in the negative or something.

I am thinking the end of next week all the body fitment will be finished and I am having a small mod the the cabin of the car but no piccies yet .

Its back to work tomorrow getting deodorant for the taxi drivers and all the things that make the base run well

Cheere

Good stuff Brad - thanks for the update.

Damn work gets in the way of all the good stuff!

I am intrigued about the 'small mod' too...

Tony

Ps - nice pics of the Gold Coast too, it would be nice to escape the cold down here at the moment!! But what is with comparing Tassie to NZ??????

Hi Tony

It was in reference to the polished Kirkham Cobra at Absolute Pace ( Elle McPherson ) body being so shiny and bright in the Queensland sunshine.

You will need a bit of cloud cover so the brightness of the shine wont hurt the eyes in the sunlight.

BMK Bernie Knight made the original reference (Originally Posted by BMK View Post

Craig should post a few photos Stainless Steel Chassis and all .

The body mod will be revealed all in good time.

Craig White's idea and i have decided to run with it.

Cheers

Brad...........

Craig White's idea and i have decided to run with it.

My guesses are....

1. A WINCH for when you go bush bashing in the car ???????
2. A Bench seat???
3. A tow ball????
4. Training wheels ??
5. Rear seats ???
6. A toilet??
7. A parachute???

I give up......these are all excellent ideas, so pick one...

Cheers,
Warren

None of the above

You will just have to wait young man

Toilet would be good at my age i will give it some thought.

Options 4 and 7 are also worth some thought although it wont go fast enough for option 7

Cheers

Default Beautiful Car (Elle McPherson aka The Body)

The Body If your girlfriend looked like this you would never leave her

Cool Stainless Cable Ties from Snake Bite

Diff Flange installed

Drive Shafts getting the lube treatment

Drive Shafts Ready for the go Button

Door Hinge Ready for the Door ( All Allumunium )

With a bit of luck and if i can get my drivers organised (with deodorant)i will be going to Absolute Pace on Friday to finish the other drive shaft ,preload the shocks and finish the suspension rocker arms with the new flat base nylock nuts that arrived from the states a few days ago.

Cheers
