Hi Dean

The 5L has plenty of poke for myself, however I am waiting for John Whites LSA powered AP 427 SC to go around Wakefield Park Raceway it will be a truly awesome spectacle.

I am going to suck up for a passenger ride if I can.

I had a passenger ride with the Towmaster last year and it was the most fun that i have had with my clothes on.

I took my camera to Norwell and didn't take any photos of the car on the track, the occasion was overwhelming.

Cheers

Brad

Awesome, has that been kept under wraps? Street or race car?

Hi Tenrocca

Sorry to disappoint all the racers out there but i only ever intended it to be a street car.

It will be a very nice car to drive and enjoy the experience to own a truly iconic replica of an original legend .

Cheers

Brad.

Those headers on the LSA look like a tight fit!

So they are able to pass inspection?
Your right , a heater in a Cobra is as useful as a ashtray on a motorbike.
How much do these demisters cost?
I like the heated seats idea, or plug in jackets. I have a freezer suit that they use in freezer when I used to fly Gyrocopters.
But you look like the Michelin man.

Or a 12V plug-in blanket; my wife loves it.

Have to disagree there....

LOVE having a heater in the Cobra.....ducted to blow hot air around the shin area, and it then sort of "washes" warm air upwards, and over you ...works brilliantly.

The wife said it's the best idea we ever had.

Comes out of these chrome "sink" thingys.....

Cheers,
Warren

It's your eyes !!

The light shines out through a rectangular slot, and shines down on the "Cobra emblem" in the floor mat.

Funnily enough, that first photo was taken when we were building the car, but.....that LED failed only last week...and I put a new one in yesterday....
Spooky Huh !?

Wazza, a few owners are saying they don't need to paint their car, the gelcoat is that good. That's pretty amazing when you consider the cost of a paint job on a Cobra, wouldn't you agree?

Sambo, it looks like we have over 80% of owners not painting their cars over the long term. Amazing hey, not what we were expecting at all.

Absolute......ly......heh heh.....see what I did there....heh heh,

I wouldn't say the finish is as good as a $10,000 paint job...but still, it's bloody impressive....
and when you get a nick/chip, gelcoat repairs almost invisibly, whereby expensive paint jobs are very hard to keep unblemished.

Most "normal" people,( i.e. not one of US!!)...wouldn't know what gelcoat was, and all they see is a really cool shiny Cobra....would never know(or care) that it wasn't paint.

Cheers,
Warren
