I reckon Andrew could have secretly had that suit in the closet for quite a while, unless he ‘found it’ out the back of the pit lane garages. I recall a year or two ago there were rumours about one of the pit lane inhabitants and their choice of after shave, I can’t remember if it was Andy - wasn’t it eau de toilette ‘Grip’?

22nd Cobra Nationals Entries are closing soon

Hi guys,
The entries for the Nationals this year have been strong so many thanks to all that have already entered.
We are currently still excepting entries with a $100 late fee applied.

Our entries will close at 12 noon this Sunday (27 September)

No more entries can be excepted after this time as we then need to finalize groupings for the timing, numbers for the dinners etc.

At this stage, email is the way to submit your entry (kimjuliedown@gmail.com, or plynn302@gmail.com or m_j_hudson@bigpond.com), don't mail it at this stage, we won't get it in time.

If you have sent your entry but are not sure your entry has been excepted so far, please send me a message and I'll be happy to check and confirm.

Wheel alignment is now done by Nathan at Advantage Suspension, he really knows his stuff. I have a full-on weekend now finalizing stuff and fixing a few things, not expecting any show stoppers, not long now!

I know we did something similar 6 or 7 years ago with vinyl stickers but I was wondering if all forum members attending the nats could write in removable nicko pen their forum names on their car windscreens?

There so many people I know on here but don't know their car and it would be nice to put a face to a name so to speak. I'm happy enough to walk around the sheds satdy with a pen if the idea is taken up.

Just an idea. Matt

I think Cornetto's race suit will give him away, that is unless you have one too Matt?

I offered him mine Gav but it's gold and Andrew isn't real keen on that colour from memory:

As my user ID is basically my name backwards, it will already be on my windscreen and easily recognisable by those behind me. That would be all my other class 7 b1tches.

I hit "like" but then hit "unlike".

I just wanna see you rock up in your new driving suit at the drivers briefing when its 5 degree C - and then trying to explain the "shrinkage" cause its cold. :-)

Beast is all loaded up for the big trip. :-)

You're right Dave.

It does a great job of keeping the stones off my Cobra from the tow vehicle though. Cheers Gregg

I have bled the brakes, thrown in some new coils in the back, fitted the new diff and tested some mods I've done to the car.
Roll on the weekend...

Ah-Hah! The old "it looks right on paper" late spring change. Big call. Will have to make sure there is beer flowing at 5pm on Friday when you're swapping them back

My Coupe is not going to make it to this years event, after a couple of delays with the build.

I was planning to come down on Saturday from Sydney.. Is there a run sheet for the weekend on any of the club sites I could download..?

With thanks

Chris
