Jams, I was running 500 lb springs in the front of mine with a small block and the ride was excellent. I now run 600 lb spings with my 427. If you need a set of 500 lb springs I will sell you mine for cheap, $50. If you ever decide to road race your Cobra you will be glad you have the 500 lb springs.
