For what its worth the 780 Holley will do well on your 390. In my old mustang with a hot rodded 390 I had both a Holley 750 and a 780 and both performed admirably. Sucked fuel like crazy, make great power, just dont go looking for fuel mileage

Many many thanks to you John, and to Lear Jockey for doing this. I appreciate it so much. As I begin this journey of (hopefully) recovery from this darned disease, what you guys are doing is truly keeping my spirits up and keeping me going. I so look forward to hopefully driving this car one day. I can't thank all of you enough. I got some less than wonderful news from the Docs this week, so this whole outpouring of kindness and support is coming at a perfect time. Thanks so very much to you all.
