Anyway, I pulled the motor and put it in the storage room for a future project. Later I was looking at pictures of the motor and noticed a reverse S on the back of the block. The intake has a large S on it. I found out what the S on the block was but I have not found anyone who could tell me anything about the intake. I'm not going to use it but someone out there in the FE Ford world may be able to use it on their car.
Can you tell me anything about the intake?
Thanks Dwight

According to my books, C7AE-E was a cast iron dual plane intake used in the '66-'67 390GT and 428 4v from 11-1-66 to 9-11-67. The large "S" was cast on all '66-68 GT 390's. No "S" on the '69 GT390. That's all Ive got.
