I'm now picturing something that blends the suspension of a SCORE off-road champ truck with the nimbleness and semi-exposed frame of an Arial Atom, along with some of the comforts and powertrain dynamics of an all-wheel drive Evo, all wrapped in copius amounts of removal aluminum panels for access and maintenance.

Am I closer?

Default Video of new Kirkham car

dcdoug:

See post #130 for the video posted by Tom Kirkham of this amazing car.
Watch all the way to the end to see renderings of various body styles as the action video is without bodywork and rather... plain

Ah, I see my mistake. I figured they were just having a little fun with us and this wasn't serious.

Anxious to see what bodywork you're going to wrap that bad boy in.

It looks like an updated Manx.

Where do you carry the spare tires?

What's the emissions situation using a motorcycle engine in a 4-wheeled vehicle? Safety equipment or is this solely for off-road use only? How's it work in snow and ice...heater and/or defroster?

I believe David already stated that it would be V8 powered. Not to say it wouldn't be a "green" powerplant, but I wouldn't expect a motorcycle powerplant in anything those goes build.

David:

Does the new vehicle have a name? How about:

KRUSH - Kirkham Radical Utility Sports Hotrod.

- or maybe -

HILLARY.

....with a Kirkham badge on it.

As I said in another thread...think WRC+ for the masses.

You can drive it to the track and not worry about going off into the dirt and weeds in a corner......just change the ride height and drive it back on.

Uncle Sam just told me they will buy all you can build (with some added armor) and will pay a lot more than the rest of us can pay.

And then, you can sell the civilian version....HUMMER????
