|
Kristen, those pics have the lighting "Just Right," they look great!
|
Kristen,
Those are great pictures. As Mike said, you got everything just right. You should blow them up and hang them on your garage wall. Looks lilke beautiful weather there. Ron :) |
Thank you, thank you!
The largest that CVS (eckerds) will do is 8x12. I'll have to take it to a real camera shop to get it bigger. Will wait to see how the 8x12 looks first.... This location is about 4 minutes from my house. 3 if you catch the light right... I've passed it for 3 1/2 years, knowing someday I'd take my kids over there and take a few pics. So, it wasn't my kids! Just a minor detail.... There's one good one with 35 mm film. I'll scan it in- ya'll let me know which one you like best!!! Kinda like a one man show on CC. (Glad we've got this thread which is good for all kinds of ramblings....) K |
Awwweee. Nice pictures Kristen. Thats is soo beautiful.
Wish I could just drive the car. I broke the rear left axel seal. I sware I'm gonna have to rebuild the entire car at the rate I'm going. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
well, one more, with 35mm film....
one more, after this one... then ya'll can quit looking at bluebonnets!!!! thanks for humoring me.....
http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...5scan1-med.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...n_film-med.jpg my buddy, Joanne, who goes on most of my cobra trips with me, came over Saturday evening to hang out and have pizza. Well, she went to the 'photo shoot' with me, to be the technical advisor. I wanted the front 'goodyear' to be right side up; you know concours like, so she directed me to drive forward til it was juuuussst right.... didn't worry about the rear... |
Tru,
Don't give up. You will have it ready for the nice weather. And that shold be coming soon. Once you start driving, all this will be forgotten. Ron %/ |
YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH
DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute....... Work this out as you read.. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate. (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold) 3. Add 5. (for Sunday) 4.. Multiply it by 50 ...I'll wait while you get the calculator............. 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1755.... If you haven't, add 1754 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number .... do ya? The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., ! how many times you want to have chocolate each week). The next two numbers are ....... YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2005) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO HAVE AT IT !! Ron  |
So, you did not take one of Joanne? More great shots!
Yes, this is a good thread for venting and expressions of "current state". One can not tell what a face to face meeting will yield. However, the entities of this tread are friends in my book.:D It is a great day today! |
Those are great pictures. Everything looks just about perfect. Flowers, sun, great car, and you standing by it. :)
Ron ;) |
Started on small engines in shop class today, made a bet with two people that we (we meaning me and a 'bud' of mine) could have the engine tore down and put back together twice before they had theirs put back together. Seeing how today went, I think I will be $10 richer by Wednesday.:)
Kristen, wish I could take pics half as good as you do.:) |
Mike,
Sounds as if you are doing well. Now if you want to run a small engine I have a weed eater that I just finished doing most of my fence lines with. Finally got so hot I had to stop as it is humid here today. I almost had to tear my shirt off it was stuck to me so bad. **) And as for Kristen's pictures, you have to be really fast to leave the camera hanging in the air, run pose by the car until it snaps the picture, and then run back and catch it before it hits the ground.  Ron  |
Great pictures CG or RB, whichever it is today........
Neat puzzle Ron, it really worked.....freaky....... Mikie, don't ya know "gamblin" is illegal for minors............... Tru, hang in there, at least yours is farther along than mine.......... |
Earl, its only illegal if they catch you!!!
|
Earl,
The age puzzle wasa kick. Some people have a talent for figuring out that kind of stuff. I just have enough trouble making it work. Now for the car. When are you going to really get hard at it? Once the chassis is ready and the body is on, you will be amazed at how much you have accomplished. If you need help painting, they have a sale on rattle cans here. How many colors do you want? :D Tru, You should be able to take yours for a drive soon. How is the weather there doing now? Ron %/ |
It's a bit cool.
Finished the platform last night. Plan on trying it tonight. Can't aford one like yours, but this one should be fine for what I have to do. Not sure about the this rear seal thingy. Blykins says it should be a 30 minutes job. I'm gonna check that out after the ****er and speedo problems. I also will be looking at the clutch. Oh heck, I'm gonna do what I think I can fix first. I want to take my wife out while the boys are playing for Disney. One of those romantic evenings where you drive to a vice dinner and then then home for a evening by a fire. Yeah, I can do this. |
Ron, I tinkered with it all weekend, between other chores, and did get a few things accomplished. I am on a quest to gather a few more parts that I found I needed so that hopefully I can get a little done each day. I figure if I spend an hour or so every day that I can and then a good days work on my days off, I will get it whittled down..........................
As far as the colors, do they have any Hot Pink and Chartruese?? |
Tru,
Sounds as if you are making progress and I am sure most of the stuff you can fix pretty easy. The going out to dinner sounds like a great idea. I am not sure what platform that you are talking about. I have no expensive stuff. :) Earl, If you ever get all the parts gathered, that in itself will be an accomplishment. I made so many trips to NAPA and other places that I felt I should just move the darn car down there. And yes, they do have Hot Pink and Chartruse. Would you like that in a high gloss or a krinkle type finish? :D Ron  |
