Mike,

Now that is quite a contrast to our weather for the past week. See the photos that I took yesterday while on my drive. One is in the For Tru thread I think and the other is a page or so back in this thread. :)

Thats nuthin compared to whats commin down now..............

Ron61 01-22-2005 09:00 AM

Mike,

I watched the weather on TV last night for back in that area. Every Winter I am more thankful that I decided against moving back East to stay. The big snow we have every 10 years or so is more than I care for. When you get old, snow is not nearly as much fun as it was when you were a kid. Maybe you should consider a snow cat instead of a blower. The news showed it even getting bad in New York City. :(

Ron

LwCwb 01-22-2005 12:21 PM

It has to be the longest thread on Club Cobra to date, I wouldnt be suprised if it gets its own forum and a sticky sometime.

Ron61 01-22-2005 12:41 PM

Actually Mike you are wrong again. The Joke of the Day thread is longer than this one, but this one is fast gaining on it. By the way, sun is out, and it is now 62 going toward 70. :D

Ron :MECOOL:

LwCwb 01-22-2005 12:43 PM

I used to read the joke of the day thread. what happened to it? Did it get closed, or just die a natural death?

We are working on a science fair exhibit. The impact of different liquids on teeth. (this is after 4 kids went to the dentist couple of weeks ago, and the verdict of sugary drinks on their teeth was not good). So, we have 4 teeth (hard boiled eggs) soaking for 24 hours in 4 liquids. Coffee. Coke. Orange Juice. Milk. any theories?

clayfoushee 01-22-2005 01:08 PM

Yes, I think all four eggs will remain uncooked.

LwCwb 01-22-2005 01:11 PM

I have another theory: The Coffee, Coke, Orange Juice, and Milk will be drunk (drank?) by the kids while eating the uncooked eggs.

hey,littlecobra 01-22-2005 01:24 PM

tsk, tsk, tsk.... Like having a class of kindergartners right here on CC!

Ron61 01-22-2005 02:14 PM

The Coke and Orange Juice will be drank after the eggs desintegrate into them. The Milk will become Egg Nog, and the Coffee will remain as lousy as ever. :D

Ron  %/

EarlsflyinCobra 01-22-2005 02:17 PM

The egg in the coke will never have to worry about battery acid, the one in the OJ will never catch a cold, the one in the milk will have stronger bones and the one in the coffee will never sleep, unless of course the coffee is decaf!!!!!!!!

Ron61 01-22-2005 02:27 PM

Hey Earl,

How is the weather there today? I just got back from a nice drive as it is 72 and really clear here today. The last three days have been so clear it is almost like looking through a telescope as Mt.Shasta and Lassen seem to be right here. And it is almost 70 miles to either of them. :)

LwCwb 01-22-2005 03:26 PM

Hey Foosh, when did you become a gashole? I was burnin time browsing the Gasholes main page and I saw you under the profiles link.

Ron, its 15* and theres 10 inches of snow on the lawn, I feel so special.

EarlsflyinCobra 01-22-2005 03:33 PM

Ron, it's 70 and overcast here in Daytona, however Sunday night it is supposed to get down in the upper 20's with a wind chill of 21....too D_ _ N cold for Florida and no S word.
