Earl,

Just keep plugging along a few pieces at a time and once you get all of the small stuff done, then it will really seem to go faster. There were times when I was ready to shove mine off down into a canyon as it seemed I worked for days and nothing would look different. Then once all that little stuff was done and things started to really show up, it was a lot more fun. :)

Spill!

I'm $10 richer. We almost didn't make it, but when I went over and checked if they had everything assembled, I realized that they left their valve tappets out, so that bought us the extra time (our rotating assembly was locked up, someone over-torqued the rod bolts.:o )

Steve, its only Illegal if they catch you, if it somehow, "Made an attempt on your life....." well, you know..... self defense........

4RE KLR 04-13-2005 06:21 PM

Wel of coarse it would be self defense.

Can I say they were bigger than my dog and were trying to cart him away?

All kidding aside I hear there are literally thousands of these ferrel cats running wild up north. I can't remember who. Maybe Kieth (excell guru) had posted some pictures of his current cats problem.

Practice for the problem.....

(And before I get "BASHED" it was "NOT" my idea, I just passed it along!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Ron61 04-14-2005 05:56 AM

CATS,

I had a cat problem with about 10 of the neighborhood cats and one of them must have been an attack cat as he would just hump up and slash at me when I tried to run him out of the yard. Bought a .177 pellet gun and haven't had any problem since. Doesn't kill them, but sure stings and leaves a lot of squalling as they leave. Now if I see one within two yards of mine, I just clap my hands and they vanish. :)

Ron

ONLY IN FLORIDA ! This picture is real -- not doctored in any way -- and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures.
The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust. A woman is either asleep or otherwise out in the front seat passenger side. The driver was jogging up and down on Rt. 925 (in the background). Witnesses said their physical/mental state was OTHER than normal. The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.
The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver. While the plywood and 2X4s are fairly obvious, what you can t see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? -- 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each.
They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back shocks were driven through the floorboard. The car, with FL plates, was headed for Clanton, Al. where the couple presumably planned to build a new house.

Sounds like a couple of "GOOD" canidates for the Darwin Awards..............

Ron61 04-14-2005 06:49 AM

Earl,

With that kind of mentality I am surprised they weren't headed for Calif. I bet that car was a handful to steer if it would move at all. :)

Ron

Saw this and just couldn't resist. It had one next to it that said Kristy, And Yes They Are Real And all Mine. All 3 Of Them. So I naturally thought of Kristen and her sense of humor, I hope. :D
