now that'sa topic!!!
Candy Bars!!! yummm!
ok. Bernie. I think I would raise a few eyebrows around here if I had a cap with 'Desperate Housewife' on it. I'll stick to the 'cobra goddess' for the cap! I'm thinking of what to change the sig line to.....
My mother rarely picked us up from anywhere. If she did, it was in the 'Vacation' (the movie) Ford LTD station wagon, 1968 Ford, Metallic gold, wood grain side... you know.... I have a pic of it somewhere...
My dad had the cool cars; Porsche, Ferrari. 1969 Porsche Targa. Still has it, as far as I know. Never redone, original tangerine orange paint. My mom has moved up to an Oldsmobile 88 station wagon. Probably a '95 or so. Nobody at home, but still drives a wagon.
Ron. glad the temp has cooled a bit there. It is cloudy here, and looking like rain, but not yet.
Steve, funny that you had a lot of rain yesterday. I could count the drops we had, not much. Sprinkled several times. No REAL rain. We aren't THAT far apart.... What, an hour + or so??
Bernie can accommodate 6. But not next summer. Summer '07???
Next summer, we have son #1 going to Philmont Scout Ranch, and we'll probably just do another colorado thing.
Bernie, when is Knott's, and where?? April? California? Keep me posted!!!!
Earl. you have your days and nights mixed up. Sleep at night, work at day.
ok. Lunch for daycare is done. going swimming. seeya!
#1 son wants computer. You wouldn't know I have 3 computers sitting in this one room.....
more later

Steve,
You say I am never satisfied and then tell me it poured. Kristen comes along right behind you and says it barely sprinkled. At least I am consistant. It is just hot. But not so bad today. Just 103 now. I had to go to Redding this morning to have the battery in my watch replaced and I then went over to Jay's, where he has our annual Cobra Social. Wish some of you could attend that as it is a really beautiful place he has right on the river. Bill said that Kurt Scott is coming again this year and Jay said the local TV station had asked him if they could come film a segment for the news.
Kristen,
Earl is just a little mixed up. Sleep at work, play at night.

I thought that you may enjoy seeing this. Quite Imprssive I think.
Anyone that loves Photography will appreciate the precision of the photo. As the jets are probably moving at around 400 mph and you being just right to get the shot at that instant. And that is a hard formation to stay at as the ones in the S are just a little graduated degree behind the next one and staying that way to maintain the formation.
Awesome!
Thought you would enjoy this!
It is a Great photo of an Air Force training squadron flying in a never-done-before "USA" formation over the control tower "Taj Mahal" (HQ building) of Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Ron, I thought your weather was either hot and wet or hot and dry.
No one else has a favorite candy bar or hard candy (butter rum Life Savers) or snack?

Favorite hard candy is Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Fire. 3-4 bags a week.
If you sent Kristen a money order she might get you some blue tennis shoes like hers.

Ron - great shot of that USA formation - now there's some flying!
Kristen - #1 will love Philmont, just hope they have the bears under control.
Of course it was only a million years ago that I went there for a month -
so I'm sure they have trucked them all far away by now!

We have so many topics going on I can't keep up.
Ron
I was happy it rained. We needed it and it cleaned the air. Almost smells like the coast.
Then today we had a chemical plant explosion and the air is filthy again. BIG FIRE, I can see the flames from my house and it is about 50 miles away. They say it will burn all night and into the morning.
Snickers, Butterfinger and OREO cookies. I love the Oero's I have to stay away from them as they make me fat.
Favorite ice cream is Klondike Heath bars, ummmmm.
Great shot of the jets. I think I saw that on the news here oone night but it seems like it was a year or so ago. It may have been something else but the USA was the flight pattern. I think they may have done that shot with a video then clipped out a shot.
How about that police chase yesterday where the police car drove completely into the building. I hope he wasn't hurt too bad.
Earl,
Let us know if you need anything. Beside slepp that is, you know what I am talking about.
Ron, I wish I could come but I my be on a plane to Oregon in a week or so, to look at some houses.

brent, that sounds good.... ummmm chocolate banana malt.....
I also like Fudge brownie nut. Anything fudgie.....
Candy. hmmm. All time favorite, Reese's. But, as of late I have gotten into Hershey with Almond's. Of course the new dark chocolate M&M's are absolutely divine! Hard to find, only been at Target as of late.... I used to loooovvve Snickers, but think I'm burnt out on them.
Hard candy. hmmm. Green apple anything, jolly ranchers, particularly. I'll be back.... little cobra girl wants me to watch her skate for a while.
Teriyaki chicken stir fry for dinner. Yum yum!
I'll be back!!!!

uh oh. trouble in paradise..... little girl is 5 (almost 6). She can skate down the back of the drive (not where the garage is, an extension) on a steep part, at pretty good clip. Big girl is 8 (almost 9), and she can't do it..... jealousy has raised its ugly head....
anyway, the younger girl is on beginner rollerblades. Not as beginner as playskool, but slower skates. Big girl is on #2 son's hand me downs, and they are reallly fast blades. So, she has to be a little more cautious. She knows this, but...... anyway, it's good for the little one to be good at something now and then....
Beautiful evening. hubby and son #2 playing ping pong. big boy and friend shooting hoops. girls skating. I'm on the computer. guess I better go back outside. although the dinner dishes and pots (a lot) have my name on them.... ugh.

You all are bad! Now I am hungry and will be looking for the ice cream.
At my age, I suppose I can just enjoy it and work on the gut later.
I may have brakes by the end of this week. That leaves a clutch and shifter job and the cobra will be on and about.
Watch out ricers.

Looks like its summer in Australia. We'll do a 'boot camp' here and work on our guts. No ice cream.
Now I'm a little north of Port McDonnell which is the cray fish and prawn capital of the world. We can eat plenty of crayfish and it will not affect our girth...
Washed down with a cold Chardonay to Sir's liking... ..
May even get Anne to drive us around...

Bernie, do you have any hockey teams in Aussie land???
If I hit the lotto, I think I'd be inclined to do a little traveling...after I would make a deal with Hersch.
Move the glass bead out and put in Aluminum Oxide. Cuts, but leaves a fine powder.
Got one of the trucks fixed, only two left.

bummer, Earl! why no furneral or memorial service?
also, my AC guy says when it gets just soo hot, the AC just can't get it any cooler. Doesn't matter what the thermostat is set on. In fact, you may be spinning your wheels and spending more $$ setting the thermost. so low. Scoot it up to 72-74, and it will still say 80* in the house; just won't cost as much as trying to get it to 70*. Just my .02 cents worth.
In the interest of SAVING SPACE AND WORDS, I don't feel I explained that as succinctly as i would have liked! (My elec. bill will $816. this month; remember it was $1000. last! )
scrapbook day today. yea!
Kristen
thanks, Bernie! I'll check the site out.
