Sorry Brent. Didn't catch your post.
I have had to work on it more than I care to. I wouldn't buy a Kimber again.
I have three custom Mausers and they really shoot well,
My 700 is a pleasure to shoot as well.
There are a couple I am not thrilled with, the M77 Ruger has a reciever problem and the Kimber had bedding problems.
It's all in what you want out of a rifle. Looks to me are second to repeatability and accuracy.

Of coarse my dad also left a military 50MM single shot sniper rifle as well. I don't talk about that one much becuase of it's history. It is a nice, nice gun though. It is mine but my uncle keeps it safely stored for me. I have been offered $7,500.00 for it because of its history.

SIGNS OF WEAR
"OLD" IS WHEN... Your sweetie says, "Let's go upstairs and make
love" and you answer, "Pick one, I can't do both!"
"OLD" IS WHEN... Your friends compliment you on your new alligator
shoes and you're barefoot.
"OLD" IS WHEN... A sexy babe catches your fancy and your pacemaker
opens the garage door.
"OLD" IS WHEN... Going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.
"OLD" IS WHEN... You don't care where your spouse goes, just as long
as you don't have to go along.
"OLD" IS WHEN... You are cautioned to slow down by the doctor
instead of by the police.
"OLD" IS WHEN... "Getting a little action" means I don't need to
take any fiber today.
"OLD" IS WHEN... "Getting lucky" means you find your car in the
parking lot.
"OLD" IS WHEN... An "all-nighter" means not getting up to pee.

Ron, I'm sure this is a repost, but I just took my prescription "be ugly" pill. I get them from overseas.
Three old farts, deaf as corncobs, were sitting on a park bench.
The first one says, "It sure is windy!"
The second one says, "Huh?"
The first one says, "It sure is windy!"
The second one says, "No, it's Tuesday."
The third one says, "Huh?"
The second one says, "It's Tuesday."
The third one says, "So am I, let's go get a beer."
Sorry.

UT,
I don't remember reading that one. Gee, isn't it great at all the topics we manage to cover under this thread and no one gets mad at anyone.

Ron, the other great thing about getting old you don't remember reading something so everything is new again! Not that this would apply to a youngster like you.

UT,
Just because Brent is young enough to be my grand child, he has to point it out every so often. He is so young he has a hard time convincing people that he isn't part of the New Generation. But he can read and count, so that more or less proves it.

I used to count to twenty nine, twenty ten, twenty eleven. . . because I never new there was a thirty, fourty, fifty and on. Of course but the time I got to kindergarten I had it figured out.
Mom once told dad that one thing she could look forward to about getting old was he would be to old to start his dirt bike. Then he told her the DP bikes had electric start.
Don't forget I knew a lot of those "old" words like foot feed. I also remember where the dimmer switch is supposed to be! And not that I was around when they came out, but I also know what a suicide shifter is on the old Harley's.

Brent,
What you read about and see pictures of doesn't count. How about steel draulic brakes?
