Tru,

Be sure to get pictures today and then again Friday if it snows so we can see the contrast. It is unusually warm here this morning at 4 AM but the wind is blowing. Tomorrow I have a bunch of things that I have to get straightened out and if I have to go to Redding and the weather stays like it is, I may drive the cobra and just take off for a good drive toward Lassen or one of the other places around this area.

There was a good Meeting last night.Tempts in the upper 70's.
The Mexican Food was great.Good enough that you can share it with other people the next day.
Whether they want to or not.

Here's a shot of Kristen with her brother Trey last night.

Fantastic day. Took a ride into Boston with the Cobra. What a mess of traffic, even for a Sunday.

Yankees lost
Patriots won
I went for a 2 hour ride around Boston
Jeff Gordon got in an accident at Talladega
Gas price of 1.99 for regular about 8 miles from my house
Supposed to snow at Tru's place ...

Life is grand. Supposed to be 75 ºF and sunny for the next 3 days ... I don't know if I can stand it!

Trees not changing yet, but some of the shrubs lookin' gud ..

Well, it started out a great day!

And, we drove for over two hours. We had such a great time driving, looking at other old cars and just having a ball, we forgot to take more pictures!!!

I see a lot of us got out.

Warren,

Everyone up here was very happy when gas dropped to $2.39 a gallon and it is already going back up. I didn't know they had gas anywhere at below $2 dollars a gallon. Quick, buy a tank truck and fill it up while it is that low.

Tru - now wasn't all that work worth it? Except for that pressure plate and the senior moments.

25th ride in 26 days. Life is grand. The temp was all the way up to 80 ºF this afternoon and sunny ... not a cloud in the sky. No clouds ... lousy looking sunset.

I went into the closed Weymouth Naval Air Base for a nice ride. Hundreds and hundreds of acres. But all the runways are fenced off - what a bummer. At least I got to wind it out in third on one of the long straight roads.

Thumbs down

Tru

Suicide doves are called pigeons.

I have to park my daily driver out in the street when I take out the Cobra. I had about 3 feet of my front yard paved when they did the road so I could park a car in front of the house. The street is narrow, so the telephone lines run exactly over the middle of the car.

If I leave it there for a day, it looks like a spotted leopard. The birds (including sea gulls) love to sit on the lines and poop all over the car. I never leave the Cobra out front.

GM did a study about 10 years ago to determine what colors the birds liked to poop on. I forget the results, but the birdies around here love blue.

Is that like thinking you have 15 inch tires when they are probably 26 inch or is that like forgetting you have tires...at all?

Well I was going for a drive but as soon as it got light the wind started blowing and it is just blowing harder all the time. My sinuses have me sneezing so much I can't even think of staying out in the wind for long. I think tomorrow is supposed to be no wind and in the 80s, so that may work.

Well I'm at least going to take a ride down to the local deli and get something for supper. Maybe take a few pics for Tru.

Ron - here is something I bet you never thought about, in trying to save money. Does not work for me.

Ron, I'm with you. I finally broke down and took a SECOND 24 allergy pill- two hours after the first one didn't work. Sacked out for two hours this afternoon. Two hours I didn't have to spare!! Sweetie David went and picked up the kids, though. They asked him if I had already left!!

Pepe is loaded, and I'm off to pack. Evidently the beautiful 70* weather has gotten a bit nippy..... hi's in 60's* if I'm lucky....

I don't know if I can check in while I'm gone, but I will if I can!!!

RUN N GUN 2006!!! here I come!!!!

(got me a navigator, too!!!!)

I had my handle 'hey, little cobra' lettered on the back of my new helmet.
kewl!!!!!!! also put a 'pink thong' sticker on my helmet and my windwing.!!!!

ttyl. sunday night or monday.

Hi all.....beautiful here the last few days.....wish the Cobra was finished for a ride.....oh well, soooooon I hope....

Update on the granddaughter....we had her at Nemurs childrens hospital in Jacksonville on Monday and Tuesday.....her kidney reflux problem has corrected itself on the left side and the right side has improved form a stage 4 to a stage 3 (both were at stage 4 previously), so, no immediate surgery...will test again in 6 months and hopefully the right side will have corrected itself....please keep little Madisyn in your thoughts and prayers.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Only 62 ºF outside this afternoon. Still a nice ride, but rather short.

Here's wishing a good and safe time for everyone at Run n Gun.

Earl - hopefully our prayers have helped Madisyn. Good news so far.

I took this picture about 5 PM this afternoon. 26th ride in 27 days. Has a kind of religious overtone, with all the streams of light shining thru ... hopefully many for Madisyn.

Raining...again.

Hey, I did a trans swap tread on all cobra, check it out.

I was thinking of doing a step by step of what I had to do, but I lost interest...with the help of my wife.

She really likes the cobra now. I think If she were doing track time, it would become her cobra.

Kristen, planning on Jan. Will talk to you soon.

Have a good day!
