Can I register it as QQ plates?
If not what is the process do I need a full blown safety inspection?
Should I just try and register it as a plane 1965 car?
Was I not clear in explaining this to you in the past

The car is already titled? Then it gets a like and kind title in NJ

The make "KitV" is your only concern, and may get your cars paperwork pulled by the special titles division on State Street in Trenton. if that happens, then you must go through he "kit car" process in NJ, from scratch. Not impossible, just time consuming........

Can you get QQ plates, sorry, NO, and if you attempt to do so, you risk the forfeiture of your paperwork and your car. Enough said.

Register the car with regular plates, or send in for a set of custom plates, pass inspection to 1965 (or 1974 per the year of your engine block) standards, and be done with it.
