Difference between this old school unit and new.
Old school uses bearing center. New style used brass as bearing. Not as smooth for sure after years of use. |

Inside of glove box Wrapped headers to help heat transfer |
Jeff, what diameter pipes are you using, and what size is the muffler? ....and how loud/quiet is the exhaust?
Cheers, Glen |
Jeff,
Are those 2" pipes? Hard to tell in the photo. I am running 2 1/2" on mine with a Dynoflow, straight through muffler, and mine has a nice little rumble to it. Interested in hearing what o\you are running. Nice glovebox. Jim |
Yup itty bitty 2", original style Belanger type headers using original type mufflers.
I went for originality versus extra 5 ponies on larger pipes... I can say in the car less noise than my old CCX, however everyone has said that under acceleration its the loudest car they have heard. Webers and their flow are a contributor to sonic boom |
