Made up the throttle linkage, one of my two piece turkey pans sit on top of the 427.
Getting close to making noise.

Battery box ready for powder coating, also started in on the transmission tunnel.

Shifter length is just about perfect...

Really nice work Craig. I like the use of the heim joints on the throttle linkage. Where do you get the rods and ends for those? I m trying to find some to make straight rod linkages for my top loader.

I got the transmission tunnel covered and insulated.
Looks great installed, interior starting to take shape

Battery tray and batteries in, interior pretty much done.
Just need to cover the inside of the doors then seats.

Why two batteries ?
Is the red knob near the bottom a on/off switch ?

That footbox vent hose (black plastic) is very dangerous as I’ve seen two Cobra burn because the material caught on fire from the headers.....
There is a Orange Silicone Double layer vent hose used on all race cars that will handle high temperatures that should be used around any high heat situations...

The two batteries behind the passenger seat is a representation of the original type cars batteries setup.
Yes, red plug is main power cut off.
