Can you please post a pic of the underside of the trunk/hood? Interested in the details of the attachment of the shiny parts to the perimeter tubing.
You have amazing skills

Looks like a lot of fun!

When I visit cobrakiwi's shop there are many examples of his workmanship to admire. The pieces I'm most drawn to are the frames. I look at them, and then glance at unused, unbent, and not yet welded pieces of round and square steel stock. I look at the frames again and am in awe.

Thanks David,
I also enjoy your visits, I have very much enjoyed working on your HiTech projects with you.

Next up on this build, we are test fitting the front clip, this build is really starting to come to life.

We just about have the rear body section dialed in, still lots of work ahead but starting to see the light!

Been a little while since an update on this project, so here goes.
We got the doors and trunk lid fitted, next up the hood.
I am very happy with the way this one is shaping up!:D

Good move to cut the rear upper damper mounts flush. Then you can fit the spare tire insert :-)

All of our cars have the same rear shock mounts, here is the trunk lay out that will be used on this one.
This pic is from one of our other cars in progress.

Very nice!

I lost the CAD file of my 3-piece version, but can work from a print. It even had rivet holes defined for laser cutting ;-)

Thank you:)

Sounds interesting, and would probably save a lot of time, but my customers have me nailed down pretty tight to stick to there ideas;)

I had a good friend at the shop the other day and the weather was great, he suggested we push the car outside and he took some pictures.
It was great to stand back and look it over.
Next up on this one is to rivet the body down and start the inner panels.

I hope to start the inner alloy panels next on this one after I finnish riveting the alloy body on the frame work, here is a picture of our inner rear wheel panels formed in alloy.
They still need to be trimmed and fitted.

I finished getting the body riveted on to the frame, finished the wire around the wheel openings.
Then started on the front inner panels.
