OK since no one else answered.

I think Jay Nordstrom was the first to put drag radials on his Cobra.

I remember seeing them at ET Automotive actually before he saw them. Ernie was building the engine for my Cobra at the time.

Is that right Gary?

4RE KLR 07-16-2007 05:48 PM

4RE KLR 07-16-2007 08:03 PM

I did not know that.

I knew Jay, and you had them. I did not know Charmer and John also had them.

4RE KLR 07-16-2007 08:04 PM

OK,
Speaking of Charmer does anyone know where he moved to?

4RE KLR 07-16-2007 08:10 PM

BTW:
On the question above I am not sure I know the answer.

I am asking for my personal info so I can email him. I suppose it is a good question though.

4RE KLR 07-17-2007 07:32 AM

I think Stretch moved to Wyoming or up north of Yellowstone somewhere. I have emailed him back and forth since his move but I lost his email address somehow.

4RE KLR 07-19-2007 07:34 AM

OK here is another easy one:

Who in TCC is known for having the "invisible Cobra"?

4RE KLR 07-19-2007 05:59 PM

OK here is another hint.

The car really did and does exist.
It got the name because of the color.

4RE KLR 07-21-2007 04:32 PM

OK here is another hint.
The car was an ERA, Silver and white in color.

jshel1 07-21-2007 04:37 PM

4RE KLR 07-21-2007 08:33 PM

Bingo

James Baldwin's ERA was given the name "Invisible Cobra"

4RE KLR 07-21-2007 08:35 PM

Ok In an additional Question to this same one:

Who was the well known and liked, TCC member that gave the car that name?

4RE KLR 07-23-2007 08:32 AM

OK. This one has gone on long enough.

Tom Meadows gave James' ERA the name "Invisible Cobra" because of the color of the car.

If you didn't get a chance to the the car before James sold it. You missed a seeing very nice ERA.

4RE KLR 07-23-2007 08:34 AM
