Those Spf's are way over priced. I can buy a beautiful detailed and built ERA for less too which is without question head and shoulders above a Spf.
Rodknock I think you missed your calling. You should be a Cobra pricing consultant.

It's quite hilarious that you always complain about all the people on CC criticizing your Continuation Cobra but here you are clearly being the instigator and on the attack.
Take a look in the mirror because your logic applies to you and your Fake of the original too. You are such a broken record, no one cares you own a Continuation Fake. Move on with your life and just focus on driving it and having fun.

it is hilarious! The guy with the faker hot rod calls out the guy with an authentic Shelby Cobra.
What does your car title say, "South African hot rod", "Cobra replica", "Cobra kit"? Do you pay less fees at the DMV when they look up your car in Kelly Blue book/SAAC Registry?
It seems a lot of high dollar non-Shelby cobra owners are embarrassed & defensive when peeps keep asking them, "is yours real?" They need to justify the $$$ spent with a long, fictional story about their rides.

My title simply says "1965 Ford Cobra" - most DMV people don't know a Honda Accord from a Ford Fiesta from a 1969 Ford Mach 1. I wanted a no-annual-renewal-fee antique car plate on it so that's what I got.

Ooh someone's a little sensative. You sure can dish it out...
No I don't complain I just keep the facts straight for those that visit by using my CC pooper scooper to remove the informational turds left by the peanut gallery.
You can't even get your insults straight. You really need to read what you post more carefully.
In the meantime the facts, the law and the Registry are very clear. Yes we all know BuddyG and the Peanut Gallery have their own little view. Hey you guys could start a band. Kinda catchy name. Your first song title should be "Sour Grapes".

Yes, let's keep the facts straight and I've also got to get out my pooper scooper.
Shelby Cobra Continuations are NOT $200K cars. You can "wax on" and/or "wax off" about a build sheet from HRE for $245K, but anyone can be taken advantage of and spend zillions on their build. Or cajole an insurance company into thinking their car is worth $245K by using a "toilet paper appraisal". The fact of the matter is that there's an unsold CSX alloy asking $165K.
So let's get REAL and scoop some poop.

Let's look at this a different way. Whether you think it is worth it or not a new aluminum Shelby roller is $160k. I haven't verified that but no one seems to be challenging it. Is it unreasonable to expect a full drivetrain and installation, along with a few options not included in the base price will add another $40k? I know mine came close to that a few years ago. You now have a $200k car. You may not agree that it's worth that much but that's what it cost. Those being sold for less may have been purchased before the roller price increases. Or the seller may be willing to take a loss for whatever reason.
