That may be but I'm just doing my best to get these wheels made.

If you were on the list and things have changed...no harm, no foul. Just please say something. If I knew that Halibrand would definately not make a new run, I would have gotten a set myself. But one, I didn't want to bail out on my own endeavor :(, and two, they aren't the color I want.

Does it appear that I can plan for these wheels before summer, or is this too early in the project for a forecast?

David

601HP,

If all goes well, were looking at the run being made in first quarter of 2011 (Richard's words).

Thanks for sticking around!

Certainly!

I kind of like the feel of purchasing a product that's coming from a special run, and the color of those other wheels wouldn't be my choice.

David (601HP),
You seem to have a lot of interest. Can I put you on the hard list or do you still want to be on the fence for now?

601HP 12-10-2010 09:44 AM

Include me in the hard list. I'll forward the deposit when you call for it.

David

patrickt,
Do you know something we don't? Do tell!

Maybe the hard list has changed (we haven't heard from Rodknock or N2VENOM lately) but other than that, 601HP was on the fence and now on the list!**) Others expressed some interest but no promises (as much as one can promise on a forum, anyways).

Aw shucks! By the time I stuffed in the 42 gallon fuel tank this year that Nick Acton made, I realized I was gettin' all nostalgic and stuff! These Halibrands should compliment the car nicely.:p

The difficulty is getting people to commit one way or the other. A pervasive inability to make a decision, communicate it, and then stick to it.

I wasn't just saying that. That color combo will look killer!

Bel Air, MD? I go to APG every once in a while for work. My company makes life support equipment for the chem demil program. I got an old friend in Aberdeen. When I come out next, you're giving me a ride in your Cobra and I'll buy the crabs!

I hear you. And your right.
The biggest step will be collecting the down payments. It's been done before, though.
Keeping my fingers crossed.:)

I'm still in line waiting for my BRAND NEW FACTORY wheels.

JMHO, but for the extra few hundred dollars, I would rather pull my wheels out of a box directly from Halibrand with fresh Dow 7/dichromate coating on them and not have to polish old wheels and/or strip paint from old wheels. I'm anal that way.

I also assume we'll be sending our deposit checks directly to Halibrand.

Rodknock! YES! I was afraid you had jumped ship:LOL:
New:) Warranted:) Gold :) Halibrand:)

Now, for the record, all deposits will go to me. JUST KIDDING!

OF COURSE all deposits will go directly to Halibrand!!!

At some point I'm gonna have to tell Richard that this is the best we could do and he'll say yea or nay.

Since I haven't been of much help on this thread, perhaps I can make amends by holding everyone's money. You know, just to make it easier for everyone, of course.http://www.capitalareacobraclub.com/...tive1/evil.gif

While you're being an anus, what you gonna do when the humidity hits 60 for two straight days and they look like you pulled them out of a box that was at the bottom of the Pacific?

On a slightly more serious note-I'm amazed at the dedication, patience, good humor and diligence of Rodneym.
He really wants these and is trying to facilitate the purchase for others too. I thank you on behalf of any dolts who have not.

Rodney also gets the All Saints Award for putting up with our Village Idiot who has added at least 20 useless posts to this thread (launched him way over 12,000) because he ain't buyin' any and has officially been ejected from the Harry Potter Forum.:JEKYLHYDE

ERA Chas,

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
I figure that any response will give this effort energy and help bump it to the top of the threads.

I was told that big blocks aren't as reliable as small blocks:rolleyes:
