My perception is my reality. Meaning what YOU present is misleading and confusing information. I can’t speak for others, but I see the general consent here is so far, Alloycars are not trustworthy.

There is nothing wrong with that clip, it just reveals the little role Alloycars played in the development of that car. It took all in all 4 years (not your time). Read my posts over – no such words (scumbag) like that in there

Now a word to the owner of Alloycars. I hate to give business advice, but this one needs to be given to you for the sake of your endeavor ……
FIRE THIS “TOM” GUY --- RIGHT NOW!!!
He will ruin your reputation faster then you can establish any. I’m plant manger and chief engineer for an Automotive Manufacture (5th largest in the US 38 years in business), been around the bock a few times.
Many guys have expressed the interest in an Alu body Cobra – including me – and they are open to see what you have to offer. Most of them even have the means to get toys like that. If the product is right, the financial part is not an issue.

This site here has about 1500 visitors a day – keep that in mind. This thread here reached 6 pages very fast and there is a spike in traction.
Do what is for your company is best.
Ich wuensche Dir und Deiner Familie ein gesegnetes Weinhnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch in’s neue Jahr.

That's true. He was more likely to thow their butt in a car seat and take them for a ride and scare them to death.

jimgood 12-23-2014 07:56 AM

Now I want to know if AlloyCars is actually buying frames from FFR or merely copying the design.

Buzz 12-23-2014 08:26 AM

The idea of building the alloy bodies to fit on a FFR frame came from advice given right here on CC in the previous thread. I still think its the way to go, but the pricing needs to be a lot less than a Kirkham.

This latest PR disaster isn't going to help the cause - some people are their own worst enemies.

Well, first off I wish to apologize. I now understand. Tom, I know this is not your real name. You are concealing your real name in fact, because you are a high ranking official in the Nigerian Government who has millions of dollars and wants help establishing a U.S. bank account. I am interested in purchasing one of your beautiful cars! Now if I understand correctly, I will immediately wire the purchase price to you via Western Union and you will return twice that amount of money to me for helping you establish a bank account here in addition to receiving one of your beautiful cars in the near future. I'm your man!

Give alloy cars a chance, it is obvious the salesman is a bit over enthusiastic, and silly to use others photos, but...make some cars and show us.

The car doesn't have to ship to USA. This site has members worldwide from South Africa to South America to Australia to Europe. All he needs to do is tells us where one is and I'm pretty sure we can have someone have a look at it.;)

1985 CCX 12-23-2014 10:33 AM

I myself would love to see your shop? Since Bill will not go, I can take his place........
Lot's of banter, mostly negative?

I do love the Porsche 550 you do.
Would report what I see and add pictures to support your facility and products offered.

And for when they change it, I've attached both pictures to this post.

Steve,

You lost that bet, notice the changed picture, told you so, as Tom was way too predictable. Only thing missing now is the "we don't know what you are talking about" denial from him. I'll expect paypal before the end of the weekend.

With all of this has anyone reported to eBay? The ad would likely be pulled. I'll call it what it is: fraud.

Hey Tom,

I never knew FFR's chassis to use square tubing, or a unitized construction technique for any of their cars like yours show. Perhaps you should not post such things when you know they are not true.

aks801 12-23-2014 05:11 PM

Look at the way Kirkham goes about their business.

Look at the way these Alloy guys are going about their's.

For anyone in the market for a premium dollar aluminum-bodied Cobra, is there even a question which one you go with?

Very strange.

Alloycars 12-23-2014 05:15 PM

You know. I am tired to hear from guys like mrmustang and company that there is a friend of him...who owns the pictures....a friend who knows...a friend who owns etc..etc.. mrmustang will have to live with consequences, which are coming soon for publishing a photo from us and telling the open public that this is a stolen picture. Well, he didnt know that before we published those photos in our website we went to a notary and trademarked them, this is why we had a delay to upload them to our website. Same will happen with those jerks at other forums.
Someone has to stop those retards so this forum can be objective. We used a photo from FFR as it was very nice and to show how the final product can be and we had the PERMISSION to do so...isnt it nice? :)

So far nobody showed up with a picture beside ours, so I am truly happy to have a proof which shows everybody what for bull****ter we have here and I didnt need to do anything. This is why I told in the early beginning...with the time is coming the truth..

So for those people who are not like those mental cases mentioned above we are offering an affordable solution to have an aluminum bodied Cobra. If there is someone who still doesnt believe in reason of those threat from those all wisdom guys with a cristal bowl, thats fine for us.

Besides our kitcar options we are offering our Mk5 for FFR (MKIII-MKIV) owner as an aluminum body kit for FFR from February up. Thats means you are able to swap your Plastic body to an aluminum one. Can be happen that we can do this offer to other brands too but this is future for now.
No worry, no down payment needed. You will be able to pick it up and pay at site.We will have them in stock.
They will be sold like first come first go.

I think we are clear here. The MK5 can be seen over our live cams or at our website Alloycars Porsche 550 Spyder aluminum replica / Kit Cars

I forgot: We are open to objective suggestions to make our product better but I think we have to do this in an other threat . :)

Rawkkrawler 12-23-2014 05:37 PM

I'll say it again, don't say it's your last post if you're just going to come back. But I think we all knew you'd show yourself again. My initial thought was that you might open with some much needed apologies to some of the very constructive post here on the forum. I guess you're proving what we all know.

Suggestion, find anyone near you to type for you, what you do isn't working. Even with the smiley faces, not helping.

As a salesman for this company, I'm still trying to find your wining sales pitch that sells even one unit. I think I feel bad for the owner, not sure yet.

A thief and a liar you are sir, and the proof is here in your posts. If you'd like to take me to court over my statements in this thread, feel free. By the time my attorney is done with his subpoena of your company records, you'll be the ones with a lot of explaining to do with your state attorney generals office. Perhaps you should read up on another Florida based Cobra replica manufacturer who thought they could hide in in Florida.

As of right now, I put you on notice that any further threats towards me will be forwarded to your state and local law enforcement. Such threats are never taken lightly, and I will protect myself and my family to the fullest extent of the law.

The ball is in your court so to speak.

But then I think he said he still owned the last one built before the break in production. Why doesn't he show us some pictures of that car? Or better yet bring his personal car to his shop for some local cobra club members to check out?

Perhaps his personal car is a bit old and not in show car condition from being a regular driver so the paint might not be as shiny as it could be, etc., but then again why not show us a car with some miles on it to show that it can be reliable driver?

You know Shelby was a bit of a snake oil salesman and could exaggerate a bit. Maybe Tom is too. Perhaps the actual number of cobra replicas built is somewhere between 1 and 150 cars and just maybe that number is actually a lot closer to 1 than 150. Well, lets at least see his personal car to show some proof. Even if he conveniently keeps his personal car at his vacation residence in Paris, Beijing or Hyderbad, there is probably some club cobra member who could stop by to check it out.

I was thinking that we could use an investigative cobra journalist to seek and out and report on Tom's personal car. Maybe Ned? No, it's not an original cobra. Maybe Trevor? No, he's on the wrong side of the pond (and if he came over to Florida who would watch his greyhounds while he was gone? Not me).

I know, we need our friend Wallace Wyss on the case. This might actually fit into the latest rumored book I heard he was working on. The working title is apparently "Celebrities who owned or perhaps contemplated owning a Cobra who would not date me: My misadventures with Lady Campbell, Miley Cyrus and others".

http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/all-...ml#post1329560

I hear the publisher wants Wally to shorten the book's title a bit. Now if only someone would hint to Wally that Florida celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Bruce Jenner are thinking about buying an Alloycars replica and that both of them may be single soon, we might be able to see some fine spy paintings of Tom's car and an interesting chapter to Wally's next book.

Now this thread is spilled over to the FF5 forum...not one post over there from Alloycars but committed virtual suicide. There are not very happy about calling their cars plastic cars.
Most of these guys worked very hard for and on these cars. You have no idea how tight the Cobra family is and how large meets are. The bad taste will stick.
