Merv I always wondered how you'd straddle a lump of wood or a pothole in one of those three-wheelers.
I think for the same feeling I'd prefer one of Craig White's roadsters, one of the road registered ones with an LS1 in the back.

Yes I can't see how they could ever pass the ADRs here. Although they are registrable in the US and UK apparently. They may be the sports car of the future with the Falcon now on the way out and the Commodore after that probably.

I thought these might appeal to an Aussie CC member.

Heritage enamel license plates 351 & 289 for sale at Shannons auctions.
Car Auctions | Vehicle Auctions | Shannons

289 sold for $55K
351 still available $50-$75K

there's also a couple of mustangs that might tickle someones fancy

PS: I have no affiliation

I thought that these performance parts might be good for some Cobras as well

Performance : KaleCoAuto, Hard to find automotive items!

Don't order until you have read carefully ...

This link has died - even the source link. It was a great one with fictitious parts available such as cross drilled brake lines, recirculating exhaust systems ...

What happened to the Cobra site yesterday with the hacking?

Had some time to play in the shed today.
Gun sights fitted.

And then had a mate pop over, he was looking for a flat concrete slab to set ride heights, he will be back tomorrow to play with corner weights.

Then spent some time cleaning and rearranging, throwing crap out and setting up office/Cobra room, machine shop and mezzanine area.

If you get all that crap off the dash you might have a chance of using that "gun sight"

Merv, I recently drove 30 odd laps in a Lotus race car and all I can say is WOW! I loved it. It is just a lovely car to push hard. In fact they are so forgiving and balanced to drive. No nasty biting! You can oversteer it at 15 degrees and it still loves you. With 150RWHP depending on spec, mid engine, aero, grip....they just tick all the boxes.....I came home and looked at my car and just sighed,,,,,,

That said, I walked away and nearly ended up buying one! Still might. You can't compare em to Cobras.... At least not to mine.. Their lateral grip is awesome... I'm doing some more practice in one in June.....

Without the driver, this one was just a touch over 700kg (half tank fuel)
He has a new engine and dry sump setup under it, also remapped ecu etc.

I managed some "cleaning time" in the shed on Sunday and Monday, 2 ute loads later (from small shed) and half of it is clean.
Stuff that made it past the "first cull" ended up on work bench, this weekend I hope to go through that stuff and either find a home for it, or bin it.
Also moved cars in and out and lathe etc.
Will measure up for partition wall this weekend as well, Plan is to split the small shed into machine shop and office, office will have permenant room for Cobra storage.

An older pic from before cleaning.

Now.

Thanks Matt. I believe that Lotus is phasing them out this year. Will try one this Friday at Brisbane.

Well that's a good thing, wouldn't want you to get into strife with the cook mate !. I mean getting rid of a lovely photo of the child bride could lead to all sorts of trouble !

Sadly due to family health reasons, the 540 will be on the market soon.
I will refit all removed body work and get it "looking" more like a car then it is on the market.
Hence the reason for lack of parts supplies.

Is that my imagination, or is that a silhouette of a GT40 on a hoist above the Cobra in the last pic??
