Stuff that made it past the "first cull" ended up on work bench, this weekend I hope to go through that stuff and either find a home for it, or bin it.
Also moved cars in and out and lathe etc.
Will measure up for partition wall this weekend as well, Plan is to split the small shed into machine shop and office, office will have permenant room for Cobra storage.
An older pic from before cleaning.
Now.

Is that my imagination, or is that a silhouette of a GT40 on a hoist above the Cobra in the last pic??

Well that's a good thing, wouldn't want you to get into strife with the cook mate ! . I mean getting rid of a lovely photo of the child bride could lead to all sorts of trouble !

Sadly due to family health reasons, the 540 will be on the market soon.
I will refit all removed body work and get it "looking" more like a car then it is on the market.
Hence the reason for lack of parts supplies.

OZ - I really hope that you have fully thought this through. Are there transfer fees involved with the move to NZ? There should be. We may need to do a poll of members on this for permission to be granted.

I am thinking about putting a car together to compete in the 2013 ****box rally.
Next years event is from Adelaide to Perth, via Ayers rock.
http://www.****boxrally.com.au/
I am sure I can find an old Valiant suitable for the task, I have a complete driveline to drop in.

I think I will be getting a reputation soon ans the Mopar collector.
Picked up another Charger on Saturday.
Jordies Chug pictures by cobraboxhead - Photobucket
Then spent Sunday collecting pasrt from another guy who is moving to Vic, he rang me up and said "come grab what you want before it goes to scrappie"
John is a great guy and I know he would never take money so I bought him a couple of cartons of Jack Daniels and cola cans.
He also had a heap of brochures he was going to toss in the bin.

They are Charger front seat, and teh glass is part of teh full set that is green tinted (factory air con) from a Valiant station Wagon, so will end up in George when he gets repainted.

A couple of sets of Charger rear seats.

A box full of Distributers, including an older style Mallory twin point.
Johns Parts pictures by cobraboxhead - Photobucket
I still have engine parts to pick up this week.

Yep, felt it here in Sunbury. It gave the house a bit of a shake.
I grew up in NZ and got used to regular small quakes but it gave the wife a surprise. "Did the earth move for you dear?"
I was working in a Telephone exchange for the Bay of Plenty Earthquake in 1987. That gave the place a good shake with equipment falling over etc. That was a 6.3.
1987 Edgecumbe earthquake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was watching a linesman's van parked out side. It was steadily rolling back and forth about a meter. He must have left his hand brake off or something.
Cheers
