Yep, felt it here in Sunbury. It gave the house a bit of a shake.

I grew up in NZ and got used to regular small quakes but it gave the wife a surprise. "Did the earth move for you dear?"

I was working in a Telephone exchange for the Bay of Plenty Earthquake in 1987. That gave the place a good shake with equipment falling over etc. That was a 6.3.

1987 Edgecumbe earthquake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was watching a linesman's van parked out side. It was steadily rolling back and forth about a meter. He must have left his hand brake off or something.

Cheers

It is bad enough parking a Cobra at Woolies, let alone something like that!

I'm a bit of a fan of the Super Bird. The reason being is it looks just like those cars you used to draw in crayon as a kid. Pointy nose and a big wing on the back etc. It may look a bit silly but it appeals to that that little kid in me that never grew up.

Cheers

Boxhead

Damn it gets cold there. Really one extreme in winter. I can see now why people die out there. It is not dehydration that gets them but being frozen overnight,
