if your sure it was internally balanced, and if you have any receipts showing a big hunk of mallory metal
then that means the balancer is zero balance. and so will be the flywheel or flexplate
what your seeing in the work on the balancer is what he had to do to make it zero balance.
so you can buy an aftermarket balancer that is zero balance and use that instead of sleaving the old one
you could get the balancer checked to see exactly what it is.....
