Fred,

Why do you get a preview and the rest of us have to wait for the calendars?

Ron

Kristen,
Josh followed me back to the house.
First time to drive all by himself,so I wanted to show him the correct "line" around the corners.
He did very well.I'm sure I was a lot more nervous than he was.
He spent a lot of time last night sitting in the car checking it out..thought he would end up sleeping in it.

He is one happy camper !!!

Fred,

Your first car is always special. And in my case so was the surprise of what it took for up-keep as I had to buy all of my own gas and pay for all repairs. Boy, what an eye opener that was.

Ron

My first car was a 1979 Dodge Magnum. All 18.5' of it. Buckets, T-tops, auto with the shifter in the center console. Nice riding car. Not quick by any means but it would do 55 in first (and would sometimes chirp the tires going to second) with a three speed auto. I learned losts of stuf with that car. The lighter power outlet doesn't have enough amperage to ignite a model rocket engine while you are driving down the road. It did remain pretty level while airborn. Gravel will go over your head and into the back seat with the tops off. The 904LA transmissions were junk.

think I'm going to finish up my shopping today. Need to buy giftwrap as well. Concerned about putting gifts under the trees, as Sparkle 1. claims the trees as hers, and 2. she chews up everything!

She did not poo in the house last night. (well, that i can find) yea!!!!
She is already growing, and having a hard time fitting thru the chihuahua's doggy door. It is hilarious....

Must get handyman here to bump up a size or two.

have a great day!

hey, Ron. still getting royalties from inventing the wheel??
Yes, Please, I would like a calendar!

I really liked my first car. It was a 61 Ronco. No power and terrible brakes, but NO body rot at all.

1968 Chevy Nova. What a car.

Okay, I think the car for the son has made this thread something I can not have my kids read...you know they are going to want cars also.

Erich learned on the Cobra. I have never joked about his driving with him when he drives the car, he did all the burnouts when we went to London and drove most of the time.

I have let him take it out four times by himself. The third time cost me.

You all can teach you children on the cobra, just make sure you take your "patience" pill before hand.

Warren, you can just post pictures of your daughter in the front seat.

Josh took Frenchy out for a ride this afternoon. No problem.

Looks like Josh is trying to talk her into something.

Sure looks like Frenchy giving a Lap Dance to me !

Isn't that dangerous letting your pet ride in your lap?

Yes, but turtles put upside down can double as wheel chocks.

Brent - Turtles make great wheel chocks (especially for SPF's without upgrade kit ) and speed bumps.

Much better than frogs that go squish .... CROAK

Britney spears got in trouble for that, aren't you afraid Josh is going to get in the same trouble?

It is a sorry world indeed when drivers allow their frogs to ride in their laps as they navigate the highways of life.

All RIGHT! we have our tree inside and decorated!!! it can only be in the house for ten ( 10 ) days.

Fred,

Good pictures and then Frog even looks happy, if a Frog can look happy.

5 million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan------they are old and confused. We are NOT going to grant them an extension. However, 12 million illegal aliens are in our country and we are going to allow them to stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of ESL (English as a Second Language) training at our expense, etc.

WE MUST REALLY DISLIKE OUR OLD PEOPLE......OR WE MUST REALLY LOVE TACOS!!!

Don't forget to pay your taxes....12 million illegal aliens are depending on you!

Thanks Fred. Gloat now while you can, you will someday get older.

Darn, it is bitter cold here this morning and ice everywhere. My driveway has a thin skim on it and I almost feel when I first stepped out onto it as the lights just showed the dark asphalt and not the ice. Then the gates and locks were frozen and I had to get a can of WD 40 and spray them to get them open. I may not even go to the post office as the high today is only supposed to be 45 I think. But so far no wind. I am afraide to open the garage door and look in there as it must be around 20 degrees at least.

Ron

Fred,

Senility isn't bad. You will get through that stage in about 100 years. Then you will think about the good ole days when I couldn't remember anything. I am now well into the stage where I don't know anything. AGAIN
