Funny story
A guy named "Pete" in Saugus MA in an ally.............. LOL:MECOOL: |
Ahh, five-finger discount!
Larry |
Well not that bad but they are nice if they hold water....
This one has a small hole and a clean up of the upper spout. Will be handling via Acton Custom for repair. If it holds pressure I will try it, still will keep the Fluidyne in the event this becomes a keepsake..... |
Anyone replicate that in aluminum? That would be a nice piece to have.
Larry |
I guess there is a reproduction in aluminum: 1962-1962 Corvette Radiator, aluminum reproduction @ Davies Corvette Parts
Pretty pricey though! Larry |
Jeff, here is another repro for a lot less money.
John O 1961 1962 Corvette Champion PRO 3 Row Aluminum Radiator |
The radiator pictured is 1961 two row Harrison aluminum radiator. Period correct and if it will hold pressure a great find. I have a Fluidyne 3 row used on 427 (new) cars in the event I cant repair the correct one.
At $870 for a good repop I would need to really have issues with Fluidyne. I know they work splendid so that will probably not happen. Wish me luck with the repair.... :D |
Switching to 48IDA
Currently on another car, soon on mine..... http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...pictureid=9498 |

Larry |
Whhooa, Jeff! I can see it, and I can hear it... :D
Hector |
Not you got it!

Trying to do it right!

Baby steps.............
Half shafts were 427 size thus did not fit into the A-pillar of the car. Very nice Jeff
Are you going to change the fuel inlets to be more period correct? Cheers Bill D |
Bill
Yes, going with Brass which actually came with the set up. The current version is narrow for GT40 use and also not my style... I like brass old school look. |
Trigo/GoodYear spare in place.................
