migge 04-13-2012 04:06 AM

How did they or you connect the alloy flares to the GRP? Pics?

1985 CCX 04-13-2012 01:01 PM

They are currently attched with screws however soon it will be bonded via epoxy adhesive and screws will be removed. rivets and screws over time will come loose epoxy will hold up masterfully.

I will use the adhesive to bond and the screws to set up.

Fairly easy to be honest. This is how others do it as well.

Hope this helps.... I can try to post step by step pics if interested when it begins???
