Not sure if its anything like what your thinking, but I had an idea about a seat (I have about one idea per decade - most are $hit). Basically your typical cobra style seat with a very large (removable) headrest that when installed looks to be part of the seat. Did a crappy sketch a while back - rest would need to be higher of course:

Although it is in the UK, you want something like this, DAX make a removal headrest for their seats
