Regardless of the actual seller, once the title is branded with the word "salvage" it's value is diminished. I suggest if the deal is too good to be true to walk away from it. If you are paying market value or close to market value, move on to another prospective car. "SALVAGE" means that it was wrecked some time in it's past and the insurance company paid it off, then sold it at a salvage auction to the highest bidder. After that, the buyer fixed it, or attempted to fix it and is now trying to sell it off for a profit. It's your money, and you will be the one driving it, now that you have full disclosure from someone without a financial interest in it the choices is yours to make.
