If I may make an observation. Alloycars is perhaps the world's worst salesman. He has shown photos of product as "representative" of what his work will be like without being clear that they are not actual photos of his work. He has been elusive in his response to questions in that regard. He has become abusive and even threatening in those responses. He speaks from a non native U.S. English vernacular that makes him appear crude and illiterate. Those are all impressions created here. Given that. He may just be a world class craftsman capable of creating excellent aluminum cobra bodies at an affordable price. He has demonstrated that he has produced aluminum bodied replcas of another classic car that have gotten rave reviews. He has said that he is working on Cobra bodies that will be on display at specific locations on specific dates in the near future. For me, the put up or shut up moment came when he posted the exact address of his shop and invited any members who wished to come see what he was doing and he would buy lunch. There is not a single taker? No members near Ft Lauderdale? At this point I find it a bit embarrassing that fellow CC members will continue to sit at their keyboards and hurl attacks but no one will get of their ass and check the deal out first hand. (I'm in Richmond, VA, so no, I'm not going.) Is their no member close enough to go by this guy's shop? I don't know if Alloycars is a an artist or a shyster or a combination, but I do know that this thread lost a lot of it's previous appeal to me when an open invitation was extended and no one accepted, yet the condemnation continued. Just my take.

Well, I can speak from experience first hand on this subject. The German grammar is pretty complicated and the words available in German is many times more than you can find in the American English.
Although many similar words are used and when a German want to be polite even with a small set of vocabulary - he can and will.

Lucky, is the correct word to use when I think of ALLOYCARS. Lucky because the lengthy thread is not locked yet and leaves these guys another chance.

Lucky because of people like you - good Americans, who believe in second chances (however #8 or so is in place), try not to be judgmental and be once awhile the devils advocate.

Frankly I understand why FL members don't go - just read what they planned to do to Bill's buttocks. What they expect is a Paul Teutul Sr. greeting them.

Now to some history. Past behavior predicts future behavior.

I think they're pretty cheap too. We make everything with a hammer and they stamp their stuff so the cost/time difference is hard to justify. Anyways, would be glad to help anyone interested in a re-body.
Thank you

I'm gonna stop here. For me the case is closed. This goes on for too long, sorry these guys lost their marbles long time ago.

Sad to see a talent goes to waste like that.

So folks, we are looking not only for 150 cars - made somewhere. We are looking for 14 more "made in America"

ALLOYCARS, we are not that stupid as you think.

Over and out!
