I didn't find any earlier than #31, but then again, I don't know when production started, so I don't know how far back to look.

Hope you find this useful!

Default 033

Bob,
Great to learn where 33 went. I have corresponded with both of the previous owners. I have 149. If you send me your email to mduke8@gmail.com I'll send you a registry I've put together as well as some history and parts info. I got my manual from Alice at Camelot so hopefully she still has some of them. From the info I have been able to piece together, there are about 140 factory assembled cars. The VIN's are not consecutive so the final one being 200 is misleading. Glad to get your info and I will update the registry with it.

Mike

I posted an 95 Excalibur Cobra on Ebay. I have enjoyed the vehicle but have no time. It was a rare one that had tubular A-arms and some other extras. I had a body off restoration done a few years ago and had it painted Porsche grey metallic with black stripes. My restoration guy made many improvements to how the body was bonded to the subframe to prevent long term cracking. Noise abatement insulation throughout the floor of the car and in the doors. The car has been made more modern with some accents and the brakes were upgraded substantially. Car is a really good street/show quality vehicle. If anyone is looking for a good Excalibur, this one is it.

Brian

Brian,

How about a link so we can take a look. Better hurry. I'm spending my money as fast as I can before I go broke!

Thanks Doug... That's the right one: it has the eyelet on the pedal end and the adjustable threaded rod on clutch fork end.

Default Windshield

daddy-o,
I believe it uses the same one as most kits and same as original Shelby Cobras. Finish Line has them. I think you can get it complete or just glass. Several of the kit manufacturer will sell them as well. Seems like Shell Valley is one, but make sure it is the common one most use. I understand it is tricky to replace the the glass in this frame as they often crack afterwards. You might want to contact Double Venom (Ed Combs) on the Classic Roadster forum on this site as he builds those cars from scratch and has decades of experience. You could give him a call if you'd rather at 740-852-5280. I am very convinced that the CR II and Excalibur windshields are identical fitment. Here is the glass info sent to me by Aloys in Germany when he had to replace his:
XXX Triplex Laminated
DOT 17-M101-AS1
E11
43 R-0076
Pilkington
Made in England

I have a registry of these cars and owners as well as info on parts sources and repairs. Contact me at mduke8@gmail.com and I'll send you what I have. I'd also like to know more about yours to add to the list.

Mike

Default we just received a 1994 Excalibur Cobra

Hi Tom:

this is Bob from Bobs Classics,Inc.,Clearwater Florida.we just bought a 1994 Excalibur Cobra, that was in Hawaii all
its life-red/black,white stripes vin # M123033 so its # 33
of the 200 or so built.dont know anything about it,except it
doesnt have power steering or air, tough to steer at slow speeds.someone removed the air pump-for smog.it is a blast to drive. have a few advance photos on my website at
www.bobsclassics.com but will have all fresh new once next
week, when we get a dry day.I would sure love to purchase a 94 owners manual.I wonder if Camelot Motors might have
them ? I deal with Alice Preston,of Excalibur,quite often.

thanks

Bob

Default New toy

We just bought 010. has 15,000 miles on it and drives good. it's all stock as far as I can tell. I have the same questions as most posters. where do the parts come from? is there a way to get an owners manual? Parts manual? I see MilwDoug has a pretty good list going. He mentions an alarm and special ignition keys . . . Not on ours. Also no air conditioning option, standard steering (builds upper body strength). Car is silver with a black stripe. looks like the original tires. Hard top is in great shape but I would like soft top. I guess that's it for now . . . . My email qacentral@hotmail.com
