DV, If you want to pay for shipping both ways you can use my top. It is the older style. See my gallery for some photos. It hust needs the hinge pin for the center. I have the side windows also.
If you could find me the threaded t-nuts that goes in the window track and ship them back with the top I would pay you for them. I figure that you would supply them with the tops anyway so getting a few extra would not hurt. My zip is 95336 (for shipping info).

DV:

Anybody seen a couple of lower rear arms any where?

Did not go back and re-read the past replies, can you repeat exactly what your looking for, i.e., type, model, GM/Ford, etc., etc.,

Don

Don, Cpt Eddie is having rear control arms custom made. He was told "weeks" ago that they would be done, but as usual in this business there is "always" delays. I think they are at least partially made now ?????
TCrist, you bet your bibby I will pay both ways for shipping. The one gentleman that was going to send me his- with the windows got sick and I havent heard from him since. Hope he is OK?????

I can use the entire top as soon as you have the time to ship it. I figure two weeks will be needed at most!
DV and thank you.

Don

WOW DV, your quick. Beat me to the reply. Must be that new super computer of yours.

Don,

Thats DV taking a poke at me. I'm having a set of custom adjustable lower control arms made by a rat rod builder here in Illinois and its taken forever %/. He's been totally consumed in getting 2 cars ready for a show. He is suppose to have them finished either today or Monday.

Those arms are holding up DV in getting my car standing on its own and not resting on DVs dolly.

tcrist 07-11-2008 10:49 AM

DV,
I think you can set it up on your end with the carrier that you want with a pickup notice for my address. Its best for me to have something picked up here on Fridays or Saturdays as I have been home on Fridays a lot. It can be picked up Monday thru Thursday but after 4:00 pm. Or you can set it up where I can drop it off, if it is UPS or FED EX. Let me know when you set it up.
How much of it do you need? I have the top, windows and bows.
The box that it is in is 12" x 24" x 32" and weighs 25 lbs.

Terry,
I have never issued a "pick-up" tag before and not sure they will let me, being an individual, but I will certainly find out. I'll let you know asap! Yep I would like to have everything, these guys are not only going to make the top but also all the hardware needed. They just need something to go off.
I'll be in touch!
DV

DV,
I just came back from the closest UPS outlet. They said that you can pay for it there and they will fax a pickup / paid tag to this UPS store here and then I can just drop it off there after they receive the paperwork.
The UPS store close to me is at
1112 N Main St, Manteca, Ca 95336-3208

DV,

If you want. I have done this quite a few time before and can take care of the logistics of getting the top from Terry to you and back again. You can just subtract the shipping cost from that running build tab I have with you

Just let me know.

Ok DV... Get your air saw warmed up %/

Those  slightly pricey Australian side louvers showed up today. I think your going to have to do some cutting, so don't move that body into the spray booth just yet

Quality is super nice....

Double Venom 07-11-2008 08:13 PM

Hmm, I just put in a new blade in that fancy little air saw. Some pretty serious cutting is due but they should look good once in place!
On the top I do not know which one is going to be easier for alll involved but if you think/know that it willl work out it's fine with me!
DV

PS Looks like some stainless steel rivets are in order.

Terry,

PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a PDF of the UPS shipping label. Just print it out and take it and the package to your UPS store and your good to go. I'll include me cel # in the e-mail if you have any problems. The guy at my UPS store said this is the easiest way to do this.
