Tsk tsk tsk - Hey pot, RK's no kettle ...and I'm pretty sure you started that game, so don't cry foul now.

PS: RE the Tesla: It's not hard to point and shoot.
Just sayin'

It doesn't take a computer forensics expert to see your Woolly mammoth-sized footprint on the Internet. Just search on the terms: "SUPERFORMANCE GT40 REPLICA TROLL REFRIGERATOR WHITE STANDARD BORE 302 4BBL WASTING TIME MONEY."

Turned into quite the discussion, a good thing. Being the GT40 in Chicago sold
and Hillbank never got back to me I ended up gong with a 2016 GT3 RS, should
be here in 6 to 9 days.

Great choice, hope you did not have to pay what they are asking in California for your RS.

Gt40 vs gt3 rs. Gt40 everyday every week every year. It's a gt40. Probably one of the coolest cars ever made.

Awesome, please post some pictures. Hopefully you chose a sophisticated color versus some neon bubblegum machine color that Rod would choose

Excellent choice. What color? Ultraviolet, Lava Orange, Signal Green, Riviera Blue? Hopefully, it's not a base house trim or refrigerator color, say, like White. Boring!

At least it's not a kit car replica of a 1960s race car.

This ^^^ post from the OP pretty much sums it up. The SPF GT40 is a very nice replica, but, Porsche, there is no substitute.

IMHO Porsche is the antithesis of a Cobra/GT40.

The 996 does represent a lot of finely tuned engineering for comparatively very little money... and to be honest, they're growing on me.

A Cobra on the other hand is what I call sledge hammer engineering... Weirdly, its because of this that it appeals to me.

I agree.... For the money it's a hard car to beat. Such great quality and engineering. I would take my cobra any day of the week over a 996 TT but they are still better than 90% of the new cars coming out. I have not had the pleasure of being in a SPF gt40 but that is the only other car I have a desire for at this time.

Rod, you could spend a month of Sundays with your chrome polish and your Kirkum would still be invisible every time I showed up in my beautiful GT40. That must kill you inside huh...
