It's not like you're hard to find. You also troll over at GT40s too.

Wow. It took you 2 days to find that. Thats the definition of a troll.

BTW, for sale right now. Fresh on the market today. 2016 GT3RS with 100 miles. MSRP $239,000. Asking price $350,000. Yes, this GT3RS every day of the week and twice on Tuesdays, over the SPF GT40 replica.

It's almost like you had an alert setup to notify you as soon as I posted something? Feels like stalking Rod...

Was it PT Barnum who said... there's a fool born every minute! You can't afford to be that fool anyway so just stop.

Great car and I like Porsche but the new ones are pretty soulless and so boring unless you get the top of the line model with 50K worth of options to make you feel like your in race car. One cannot argue that until the current Porsche bubble burst there will be specific Porsche cars that are great to buy and then resell for 2 times what you paid for them. The value of Porsche cars seems to be comparable to the housing market in 08. I had friend with a 993 turbo that paid 75K and sold it for 130K in 2.5 years.

I did not like the Boxster until 2013 when a man could be publicly seen in one. I wish they would have offered a TT version of the Boxster S! The new 4 cylinder turbos sound AWFUL! With all that being said Porsche makes one fine automobile.

Ya, but 993's are extra special. The last of the air-cooled models.

And if the Porsche bubble does burst, for the special 911's, then I'm prepared to pounce.

The best deals are the 996TT. Have a friend that picked up a 2004 1 owner with 49k miles with all records for 37K. It's a great car for the money...boring but nice.

And IMO, 996's are ugly. I could never own one. Blech.

I'd be after the Mezger 997.1 Turbo, if I was looking for "cheap" turbo, but that's just me.

RK, "Don't Suffer Fools Gladly"....
That came from way beyond PT Barnum.

And for you MHNCO, take it somewhere else, please. Your welcome is running out here pretty quick. But that's just my opinion....

Just sayin'

Whatever gets it up for you in your world pal. Many responses here actually have substance and content. You, on the other hand have provided nothing IMHO.

Sorry to everyone else, but this guy is a jerk. Again IMHO...

Poor Mike is angry and frustrated. First, his spent a fortune repainting his race car replica and chose white. A base color. He suffers from no imagination.

Second, he can only push his car and sit in the driver's seat and go "vroom, vroom." The only problem with pushing it from here to there is that he has no core strength. Pushing sleds is not in his exercise regimen. Thus, he can't push it either. That's the cause(s).

Now, the effect of all this frustration and disappointment is that he lashes out on a forum, almost entirely dedicated to a different car. A Cobra. His only outlet is acting like a troll here, not the GT40s Forum, by insulting others and their cars. Trolls suffer from low self esteem. And being from Colorado, where the ganja is legal, his behavior here shows the potential for a substance abuse problem.

We should just pity and ignore him.

Service guidelines for an F150 peekumup truck powered "super" car. And it will disappear when I pull in with my SPF pushrod 302.

Dealers Will Have To Go Through Hell To Service The New Ford GT

You have a replica of a very famous race car that is just as crude as the original. It is not a very good replica at that because of the single four barrel induction system. I have to believe that the majority of your posts are
half serious because nobody could be that naive. The large number of views are most likely people that want to see the responses to your ridiculous claims. You might be able to fool some people at a local car show but you are not fooling anybody on this forum. Comparing your car to the 2016 Ford GT or a 918 Porsche is like comparing a Rembrandt to a computer generated copy of a Cezanne.

I'm not comparing anything other than real life experience.Your FGT doesn't command even similar attention as an SPF GT40. I'm owned them both and it's just fact sorry.

Care to directly address the article and the frightening service costs for a car that has a pickup truck V6?

I was talking about the new GT not my 2005. I could trade it for two SPF GT's in today's market, but why would I do that? My cars are for driving not sitting around at some boring car show trying to impress others. I want to be impressed and a replica that does not handle with a no horsepower 302 would not get the job done.

Cost of service will not be an issue for those lucky enough to be selected to purchase the new Ford GT.

That's called an OPINION. And I think most sane people, even those on the ganja, would prefer the FGT. I certainly would, because: 1) the FGT is not a kit car and requires no special laws or exemptions in order to be smogged, registered and legally driven on roads, 2) they were produced in a limited number with only a small percentage still remaining in existence due to accidents, 3) the FGT has windows that roll up and down and are far more comfortable to drive, 4) the FGT is faster, if that swings your pendulum and 5) the FGT has appreciated considerably from their MSRP and will continue to appreciate over the long haul.

IMO, your SPF GT40 is worth less to me, and most in the resale market, because it has a $20,000+ 302/4bbl, which 99.99% would have to pull out and rebuild since no one, but no one, would ever build a 302/4bbl and drop into an SPF GT40.
