Finally,
Got that upper lot mowed. What a job. Grass and weeds so high in places I almost lost the lawn mower. And now the lawns need mowing as they look like crap with all that freshly mowed. But I am through mowing for the day and just intend to enjoy this beautiful weather. A Diet Pepsi and sit out in the back yard for a while with the dogs.

Hey, just the idea of being able to turn a wrench without freezing my finger off is good enough.
It is amazing what that alignment tool can do...besides align an engine. Same with the torch.
Earl, you might want to leave the pink thingy alone.
Hoping for some drying. I want to take the cobra out so bad, I am about to get a trailer just to get it to a dry road.
Yeah, it's drying.

Tru,
You will soon have some good weather so you can get the Cobra out. After all, Spring is here. Just don't forget to take the snow tires off.
Mike,
Right now I would be happy to see a space ship land in that lot and kill all the grass and weeds permanently. I am to old for this kind of work. And besides that, I have always been lazy.

Edley,
Yes, Spring is great but I think we are making Tru feel a little depressed. If he would like to he can haulhis Cobra out here and drive it for a few days.

Hey Renegade Blonde,
Don't be too upset about the $175K special - at least it really wasn't for
sale - but on the good side at least you have some practice at scrambling,
know how many kids to sell, etc to raise the $ so when the next REAL
opportunity arrives, you will be ready to pounce!
No worries about a repeat of this episode until this time next year...

Kristen,
Renegade Blonde. Now where did that come from? We have missed you an this thread a lot. Really happy to see you back even if you didn't get to offer the $175K just to hear him say April Fool.
Weather here has been really nice the last few days but more rain coming according to our incompetent weather forecaster. I took a 50+ mile drive the other day to get away from this grass and weeds. Darn things still grew while I was gone.

Fred,
If Kristen would just quit running around all over the country and save $100K per year for 5 years she could have a great start on getting the car of her dreams.
Kristen,
I will give you 25K for your old plastic replica.

Took the car out. I now have more things to do on the car than before.
Wash - it is a dusty mess
fix clutch - it now sticks all the way down
Squeek - now makes a squeek over bumps
shifter - the shifter needs to be moved forward
Speedo stopped - The speedo will not read the sending unit.
Rad fan - the radiator fan hits the fan housing
Will it ever end????
So, how are things?
I got offered two new mustangs for my cobra. I was tempted.

Tru buddy....I wish this is all I had to do....
Hydraulic clutch, right? If so, that's an easy fix.
These things will squeak and rattle....they ride like buckboard wagons.
I have a good feeling that you're the man for the job on the speedo/sending unit.
Radiator fan.....easy fix...
Come on man....you're on the home stretch now. Almost done! When you're fixing that radiator shroud, just keep me in mind....you have 5 things to fix...I still don't have a windshield, lights, carpet, my front wheels/tires, mirrors, quickjack bumpers, paint......oh.....I'm getting sick.........

Tru,
At least you are getting there. The ground must be showing now if you got the car out. All of those things will go fast when you get started. Except for the dust. If it is like here, by the time you clean it you will already be able to see dust on it again. Just think of how close you are to driving now. As for the squeaks and rattles, I am always developing some and I trace some down and others just go away, so I figure that part must have fallen off.

Did CGtheRB ever get her pink thong back? One would think a Mom would know better than to leave them laying around
Raining here off and on for the last week temps in 40-mid 50 range sorta bummer days.

G.R.
Much the same here except the temperatures are a little higher. It was 80 Friday and then back down into the upper 60s yesterday. First show and shine was yesterday and I never went. It is supposed to rain today and tomorrow, but will just have to wait until daylight to see.
